    They are all irresponsible and unwilling to accept that we have the best deal at present because they won’t achieve their personal ambitions. Poor woman is shut down as she expresses her concerns which none of the have answered.

    Clear divisions emerging here, Boris and Saj both committing to leave on October 31st and to continue to prepare for No Deal even if aiming for a Deal and orderly Brexit.

    Gove and Hunt prepared to extend a little more to get a Deal but will leave with No Deal as a last resort.

    Rory says he would take No Deal off the table, Hunt says that means he would be willing to 'Stop Brexit'

    Unless they've given up on the whole "convincing the electorate" thing, which does seem plausible.

    Interesting how many on here are dissing the woman who, like many mothers, is worried about the future for her children. That is a very real fear for many and the condescending dismissal of such fears is one reason why the Tories are so repulsive to so many.

    What this terrible format is exposing is that there is clearly no way out of this mess and none of these 5 have anything like an answer - unless we just forget the whole thing, which is probably where Rory really wants to take us. And that is only going to happen once the Tories have been booted out in the near future and Labour take the reins...

    He says we will get a deal because of the money incentive and the rise of the Brexit Party and the threat of a disorderly deal (though of course Boris also said to intend to have a referendum on the backstop by October now)

    He did at the very beginning
    Boris Johnson is the first to answer the first question. He says: "We must come out on the 31 October, otherwise we face a catastrophic loss of confidence in politics.

    Exactly what May said about March, without actually saying he would definitely no deal on October 31. Listening to him he is not going to no deal, which is a relief.

    Poor format this. It’s a mixture of Any Questions and Newsnight and a debate and it doesn’t really work.

    Rory not as good as he was in the flesh yesterday but still making good points. Not sure that it will particularly help him though.
