Seems like quite a few labour gains in the south. Not enough to make up for bad night elsewhere bur enough to save a smidgeon of face in England at least?
Rennie wins NE Fife for the Lib Dems. That majority is starting to look just a little less certain. Probable but not certain. I really expected the SNP to hold that.
I reckon the Tory powers-that-be would trade the London mayoralty for dropping Labour into third place in Scotland? If only for the shits and giggles...

Majority or not some of their MSPs will have been given a jolly good fright.

How to respond?
More INDEPENDENCE NOW or less?
The results in Moray and South Perthshire will have shaken them almost as much as Rennie's win.
Unionist vote organising itself against the snp particularly where tories or lib dems clear leader. Labour areas much less clear thanks to their incompetence.

The other two are only down 1 and 2 points. SNP down 12.
Looks like a lot of Scots are finally tiring of Sturgeon and the SNP, (outside the Glasgow area).
Named person act may have something to do with it. About the worst thing the snp have done that. And I say that as someone who wishes to see an independent Scotland.
Amazing result for Douglas Ross in Moray, and in Angus Robertson's backyard! But its the Scots Conservative % increase in vote in those Labour heartland constituency seats which is utterly amazing so far!

I think that is exactly it.
But that doesn't match the change in the share in Moray.

Fascinating: the Conservatives have raised their share of the vote in every Scot Parl seat declared thus far, save for Orkney
