    Thinking on Scotland, I feel like the SNP online brigade sometimes do their side no favours re expectations. It's not enough that they are still dominant, or that the other side be crap, it always has to be that they will have no chance, it's laughable, what pathetic people say otherwise. Now, it's not like the SNP are about to be in trouble, or that the other lot are knocking down the door, but they've exceeded expectations SNP supporters set.

    Watched BBC for 20 mins it was all about how well Labour had done. No one else really mentioned and they managed to go 15 mins without mentioning the Tories really at all.

    Impressive.... Gave up and turned over to get something other than a Labour love fest.

    The list section could be very bad news indeed for the SNP in terms of them winning a majority. Most polls showed them a lot lower on there compared to constituencies.

    I've not been around for most results tonight, but it looks like the LDs have managed to recover some strongholds in Scotland, but it's very isolated, as in other places they've gone nowhere. Seems odd.

    Hi JackW, lovely to be back. Just seen Ross Thompson take Scots Conservatives from 4th to 2nd in a neighbouring constituency of Aberdeen East! Confident that he, like Douglas Ross in Moray will make it on the List vote tonight, and both are ones to watch for the future at Holyrood. On other Aberdeenshire seats... I am delighted to announce that I voted for Alexander Burnett in Aberdeenshire West, and he has just won that constituency seat a few minutes ago!! Its good to be back living in a Scottish Conservative held seat!

    All polls showed Lab doing better in constituency section compared to Conservatives than in list. So if Lab is just ahead in constituencies, they are likely behind in the list vote

    Preparing to shift tack. Now it's not that there are no Tories or it's pathetic to think the LDs could win any constituency seats, but shifting to the (still true) picture of SNP dominance regardless.

    Not odd at all... They are doing well where tactically voting NO voters saw them as best candidate to stop SNP. And as for Orkney and Shetland.... well the voters there just stuck two fingers up SNP & their crowd funded grudge and grievance politics!

    Con also gains overall bonus by winning "excess seats" in South of Scotland - if they hold two seats still to declare.
