Reported if Theresa May doesn't get a majority she will step down … it depends by how much … if not a large margin she'll stay for a bit

    I really don't want Boris as PM though. And we really cannot bloody take a delay for a Tory leadership election, nor do they want another coronation.

    Lab set up well for stonking win in 2022 no matter what. (or a win in 2017 if another election happens).

    TM will start the ball rolling through summer, the initial meetings etc, then new PM by August?

    Assuming a conservative government, that is the key point. Given the Brexit timetable (which I'm pretty certain won't be relaxed by our EU interlocutors), there really not much time to mess around, so it has to happen quickly.

    Haven't heard any Bath or St Ives rumours. But possible. The fact that the LDs are struggling to gain Fife NE shows that they're not going to go mad in Scotland with gains.
