  Hello Mr Sandpit, apologies as I left Abu Dhabi before the conference so won't be able to say hello to your good lady wife. I was staying next to the conference site and from the 12th floor, you could see the massive scale of the thing. I wandered around it as it was being set up - the thing must be the equivalent of 4 or 5 NECs.
  
  Likely to be back before too long. I met 3 His Excellencies and spoke to a couple more on the phone. So much business potential there. Be great to meet up in person if interested. I can tell you on the quiet why I was there...

    No worries, sounds like you had a good trip though. Yes the scale of this particular conference and exhibition is totally bonkers, they’re expecting nearly 200k attendees next week, one of the largest events in the region.
    
    Definitely give me a shout if you’re back in this part of the world, always happy to show some hospitality to visitors! Yes, there’s a lot going on here at the moment, things move fast and there’s a sense of building for the future that simply isn’t seen in other parts of the world. Many opportunities if you can shake the right hands, which it sounds like you managed to do.
