Based upon what I am seeing from Tampa and numbers have remained stead all day, Hillary will lose Florida and badly.

Lets see. 4:30pm Florida time. Is it after work yet? No? Let's wait a bit.

Nope, I like these big event evenings. I've done the Indyref, GE2015, and EURef night.

Florida polls close 7pm their time so there is a wee bit of post work voting. New York is a reasonable 9pm and most of the North East is 8pm.

Peter. I've already messed up. I've backed Ohio to be Clinton's Firewall Finder state in Shadsy market at 8/1. I thought I'd see if I could get on again - but backed Iowa by mistake! Not too unhappy tho' as I was surprised to see Betfair have Iowa to go Dem at 3.75 Last Price Matched.
Wherever did you get the notion that Ohio could be the winner in Laddies' Clinton's Firewall Finder - that's just a crazy idea.

Trump at 5.7 is worth a few quid as portfolio protection.

    That's sound advice

A Brexit position (long dollar assets, short sterling) is precisely the wrong one if Trump wins.
    Short gold as well.

    Their? THEIR? THEIR?

Off to ConHome for six weeks for you for that awful crime against the English language
That is an immediate suspension from our party - red card for Rob - we only want those who speak proper like.
To be fair to Rob he's working in a country that regularly outrages the English language.

If he starts missing 'u' from words like colour and favour Rob'd be like Mark Reckless to me.

I think I was suspended already for being a teeny bit obsessed with Europe during the referendum. ;)
by definition as our party is not obsessed with Europe, it is therefore impossible to be suspended for that long for a matter relating to Europe as after a few weeks we can't be arsed what you thought about it at the time....

welcome home therefore.... well until your latest transgression at least.

Good Luck everyone. I went all green a while ago on my tiny stakes. My respect to those of you playing harder for higher stakes.

Anybody got any thoughts or speculations as to what % of the national vote Gary Johnson (libertarian party) will get? in most poles he seems to be 6-8% but I expect that to shrink a bit on the day, (today)

The big cut-off is 5% if they get over that, then they become eligible for some federal finding for the next election.

Umm.... I think it might have been you suggesting it here that set me on the trail. I didn't see the 25/1 Florida price you secured fairly recently. That was a cracking price.

If Jack W gets his predictions spot on then Ohio will be Clinton's Firewall Finder winner.

Occasionally you see British English spellings here to give a sense of poshness - there are some venues in NYC that spell their names with "Theatre" for instance. This can lead to hilariousness sometimes though: there's a condo near me called "Tappan Manour".
