ComRes: By two-to-one margin, 45% to 21%, voters say that Boris Johnson is “more likely to tell the truth about the EU” than David Cameron. At what point will the head of BSE, Will Straw, tell Cameron that he must STFU and not represent REMAIN anymore?
Boris and Hitler. Is this another project fear game changer for REMAIN that we read about night after night after night? FFS how many game changers positive for REMAIN can there be in face of the indicators that are good for LEAVE?

Will there be an EU to leave by the 23rd of June?*

I drive across that border quite often on the main E45 near Flensberg. There have been border guards with parked police vehicles chicane style there for at least 3 months now but this is something again. Actually quite difficult to enforce as well if not impossible.
@janemerrick23: You get the feeling that @richardosman and UK jury voted for Georgia because it would be Pointless in the question: #Eurovision entries

Big difference between saying what Hitler did to the Jews/ Zionists and drawing the parallel that the EU has as its ultimate goal, through ever close union and relatively peacefully - the same thing that Hitler did by more direct methods.
Are we near to TSE/Meeks/Nabavi/OGH to write a thread about what REMAIN are getting wrong?
Why don't you fuck off? Seriously, been there done those threads, but you choose to ignore that.
So that is a no from you then? Is swearing at another PB person appropriate behaviour for a moderator? You sound awfully tough for a chap in red shoes.

Interesting that Austria - who I thought had a decent song - did badly with the juries but well with the televote. But I can't believe how well Poland has done with the popular vote!

Well Austria and Bulgaria doing well with the public vote. Pretty girls singing decent songs, who would have thought they'd be popular? Of course, the juries can't approve of such tastes.
The thing is this is what the average Joe and Joanne Public sees rather than the Punch and Judy of the leave / remain camps. I wonder how many votes got turned tonight as that phone vote hit the screen from remain to leave or even DK's making up there minds based on the same observation you just made.
There will be some ......but how many? Will it make that touch of difference to tip it in leaves favour?
Am glad switched over from Eurovision ages ago (Just tuned in briefly for Timberlake at half time and the first few votes). Have watched excellent Shakespeare and now Margin Call while avoiding yet another UK whitewash (Malta excepted of course) and the farce of a Chinese Australian winning a European song contest. Hopefully the Australians put it on after Neighbours next year!!
Boris and Hitler. Is this another project fear game changer for REMAIN that we read about night after night after night? FFS how many game changers positive for REMAIN can there be in face of the indicators that are good for LEAVE?
Remain have seen Boris' trust figures on Europe so they're trashing him.
Also seems (to me) to be a fall-back strategy to ensure Boris doesn't become Cameron's successor.
I hope they publish the popular points breakdown to see where those votes came from. That Polish song was absolute rubbish but I suspect Sunil is right about the diaspora.

Exactly correct. From the same people that cried foul when Leave people did the sane in reverse to Cameron.
Boris is an idiot in using the Hitler analogy, but it is nowhere near as dishonest as the "official treaury analysis" they are claiming the £4,300 is. Actually that number is not in the Treasury document but was a back of the envelope calculation by Osborne on top of it. The sheer dishonesty of dividing a 2030 difference by 2015 households is obvious, yet it is the centre of the Remain campaign.
Good job Australia were there or it would have been a straight fight between Russia and Ukraine. Would be interesting to see the voting patterns from the Slavic countries.

Of course the new system is rubbish, but it's predictable, 99% of central and east europeans (excluding Russia) would have voted for either Poland or anti-russian Ukraine, while 99% of Russians voted for Russia.
It's eurovision after all, 99% politics 1% singing.

Could have been Cam's WWIII starting up right there!
I thought our song was quite good this year and most certainly did not deserve to be third from the bottom.
I thought it was piss poor, I mainly agreed with the public vote - Russia/Austria the best songs for me, Ukraine's effort quite forgettable - but what were the public smoking with Poland ?!

The new system is much better.
If I'd have held my nerve that Aus wouldn't win I'd have made 6 times the £40 I did...
The weirdest Eurovision I have ever seen, as well as being easily the most tedious and I only watched the voting, when it finally, finally got going. Frankly I thought it was a load of rubbish! Goodnight.

General election results should be done like #Eurovision. "Hello David Dimbleby it's Bury calling, aaaand its 12 pts to the GREEEEENS
Hahahaha.
That is funny. Just too funny. Not quite Lagarde funny but close!
Stick to inaccurately smearing pollsters, is the only thing you're good at.
With some luck next year it will be broadcasted at lunchtime from Sidney.
Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer
Anyway, it's win win.
They like our financial contributions though.

Up Yours Putin

Eurovision’s Ukraine singer Jamala probably a shoo in
Always ...DYOR
Ukraine matched as low as 1.01 before going up to 3.65.
Then the market gets suspended.
Then they win.

(though Bulgaria was easily best of these three)

Goodnight.
All my other bets lost.
Spectacularly.
I'm adding Eurovision to my *never ever bet on* list, along with the boat race and the Oscars.
