That exit poll woke me up.

There is no way it can be correct. I am really surprised that the Tories have gotten 316 seats. He can go it alone if true.

Well if that Exit Poll is wrong, that is career over for those 5 experts.
  • PurseybearPurseybear Posts: 766
Now we have to wait and see. There will be lots of regional variations and it's going to make a big difference to the actual final figures.

Jackie Baillie's comments on STV indicate that this is real.

Extraordinarily good result for Tories. Extraordinary.

Oh, there's no doubt if these results are accurate then Miliband will be gone by this time next week.

Now I've calmed down, I think (for no reason I can put my finger on) that this CAN NOT be correct. I'd go for 300, but 316?!?

It looks as if people have voted with their heads in England and their hearts in Scotland.

Remember what Cameron told his MPs that they would keep their seats?

However! The night is young, no results have been declared. This could be 1992 in reverse.

Before folk get too excited dont forget 92, I remember all the talk of hung parliaments at 10 oclock yet the tories won. Someone is badly wrong, either all the pollsters & prediction sites or this exit poll, there is a lot riding on this for the reputation of both sides.

Sandpit Clearly some UKIP voters have swung back to the Tories if they are on 2 seats, as I said the Israel factor was the one to watch beforehand. Unlike 1992, when only Gallup had the Tories ahead, in 2015 3 final polls had the Tories ahead only 1 Labour and all predicted a hung parliament as it looks likely to be
