I would be delighted if the exit poll was true, but I am too nervous. I don't want a reverse 1992 for the Conservatives. The Lib Dem figures seem too low and the SNP figure too high.
And I kept telling Mike Smithson that the LD wipeout was one of the big stories and we had not one single thread on it. Lots of their seats will go to the Tories.
My sun and wind burn is humming - I feel like I've spent the day on the high seas, but WTF is this result?
I'm in disbelief - my brain simply has turned to mush. Eastbourne isn't declaring until 5am - it'll be very close. The no=hoper Labour candidate is a smashing bloke BTW.
Before folk get too excited dont forget 92, I remember all the talk of hung parliaments at 10 oclock yet the tories won. Someone is badly wrong, either all the pollsters & prediction sites or this exit poll, there is a lot riding on this for the reputation of both sides.
I did say quite a few times over the last six weeks that the only issue in this election was whether the Tories would get a de facto majority. And that remains the only issue.
There is no way it can be correct. I am really surprised that the Tories have gotten 316 seats. He can go it alone if true.
If it is right, and the LibDems have been smashed, and Labour has been kicked out of Scotland, and UKIP deflated will people acknowledge that Cameron's quite good at this politics thing?
Sandpit Clearly some UKIP voters have swung back to the Tories if they are on 2 seats, as I said the Israel factor was the one to watch beforehand. Unlike 1992, when only Gallup had the Tories ahead, in 2015 3 final polls had the Tories ahead only 1 Labour and all predicted a hung parliament as it looks likely to be

Can't say how depressing it is to see a forecasted 58 seats for SNP
LDs almost the most shocking.
The map will look extremely blue if that's right

No hubris, no expectation of holds, she looks utterly resigned.
Looks like going to be a long night
Amazing, They win EVERYTHING.
Bye Bye UK
How could polls be so wrong?
FPT: Nick Robinson "it's still possible for Ed to form a govt"
HOW?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
LD's wiped out in SW and London, I'd guess.
2 seats for UKIP would be a bad night pour moi
The pollsters.
Ed.
And well done to Jack, Rod and (I think) RCS
However and its a big however lets wait and see.
The LDs can't go into coalition. A Tory minority, with DUP help.
If all the national polls and constituency polls are wrong as seem right now.

Or the exit poll is bollocks.
Ed Miliband Will Never Be Prime Minister
Find him ....
Remember what Cameron told his MPs that they would keep their seats?
However! The night is young, no results have been declared. This could be 1992 in reverse.
Amazing that in 2015 it's still possible to be taken by surprise like this.
TEN?
WTF?
If true the LD are a dead party, they will never recover.
How wrong could the exit poll be?
Just stuck in the YouGov figures
Ave it said 303!!
Jack W +Ave it = coalition partners!!!
Folly folly folly!
Tbf, if these numbers are wrong on the positive side for Dave, by even 5%, Jack W's ARSE will be very, very close?
