Boy George seems to have the targets under control at the moment and also to be on the right side of expectations.

But anyone looking at Spain will not see any organic solution coming. Especially when no one is willing to pump in the kind of money needed to keep them afloat. Add Italy and France to the list and a real crisis is brewing.

    Derrr.
    I missed that one, Sean!

What I was hoping to do was to entice Mark Senior out of his book of coins to help explain what is going on in terms of relative swings and local conditions.

Early results and prima facie, it looks as if the Tories have been better at resisting UKIP in the South West than the Lib Dems.

Validating this assumption is important as Lib Dem strength in the South and South West is one of the keys to the 2015 election.

And I am far too thick and lazy to get to grips with the details.

It looks like the Cons will hold Hertfordshire fairly easily. They held their seats in St. Albans. They lost Borehamwood North to Labour, but held South comfortably, which Labour should have won back. I think UKIP did almost as much harm to Lab as to Con in South. Conservative 6 out of 7 in Hertsmere with UKIP second in 5.
