Sky's exit poll is a shocker. Tories on 316? Sheesh kebab. Did not expect. Cameron can go it alone if that is true.
It has to come, I do not believe they have won that many.0 -

Cannot be.0
-
Practically speaking, the LDs surely can't go back into coalition on those figures.0
-
Cameron will need Farage now.
The LD with 10 will never support the Tories again especially if Clegg is out as the exit poll would suggest.0 -
Nick Robinson "it's possible for Ed to form a government"
WHICH PLANET IS HE ON???????????0 -
LD 10 too low IMO. SNP 58 too high.0

Huge for Tories, but one problem: only 10 LibDem allies? If the Tories end up with 310 rather than 316..........0
-
-
Rod is busy rubbing his hands....chuckling away....0
-
Tories definitely the biggest party - question is, is the 316 figure right. I wouldn't be surprised if it is.
Wonder how Labour have managed to make such little progress.0 -

Shortly there will be an election, in which the Conservative party will increase its minority.0
-
I said yesterday Conservatives would get 312.
Does that make me the new ARSE?

Tory 316 + DUP 8 + UKIP 20
-
Hope this is right, something never looked quite right about all these polls day after day, as soon as Tories had a couple of good ones Labour were back, my feeling is Labour activists were all over them.
A triumph for Cameron if right, hope the Tories get the holds in the East Midlands, I bet Mr Palmer is feeling as happy as a Camel in the Arctic tonight.0 -

How many weeks before the smell escapes from the bedsit?0 -
The two seats for the Greens seems wrong.0

Markets are very suspicious of this exit poll. Spreads (con-lab-ld)
SPIN 303.5 - 252.5 - 16.5
spreadex 304.5 - 252.5 - 16
IG 306.5 - 252.5 - 14

Green 2?! Could that be Norwich South :-D0
-
One thing about UKIP - if UKIP voters are wary of telling a phone pollster they would vote UKIP, why the hell would they tell someone in an exit poll?0
-
Odds shifting on Tories for Thanet South. I have added to my position as my average on them is 3.9 ish.

How accurate was 2010 exit poll0
-
Sky saying Miliband would try and form a government even if the exit poll was true.
Problem with that is that I can think of five MPs off the top of my head (Stringer, Field, Danczuk, Hoey, Woodcock) who would go ape and would probably rebel.0 -
How many seats ukip i wonder0
-
Cons hold Newark by 18,500. Sorry LibDemmers......there is no silver lining0
-
An excellent article? I have to say I'm enjoying the comments over on CiF blaming the electorate or the media.
Perhaps we can have or a thread for Lib Dems and byelections next week, since there are now two on the cards?0 -

Here is a recent post from the Labourlist live blog
"21.22 We’re hearing positive things from Nuneaton where Labour’s Vicky Fowler is hoping to unseat Conservative Marcus Jones. The seat is Labour’s 37th target and will be vital to a good night for us."0
