Possible futrure UKIP leader Woolfe on Sky now that Farage is standing down after def-----oh, hang on...
Doesn't Leave kill UKIP?
Sadly, no. There will be compromises to be made and, as often happens in revolutions, a split will emerge between the purists and the pragmatists. UKIP is the only party able to champion the purist position ready to accuse the pragmatist (Tories) of betrayal....
Sad though I am that it's a Leave, the British and Euro-elites have brought this on themselves. Unless the latter understand that this was not just a 'British' problem, they could well not have a European Union in two years.

Bring it on. We'll build an EU-II with like-minded rationalists...

I completely agree. This is a self-inflicted wound, and it can't be put down solely to British churlishness. The federalists over-reached with Lisbon and the wave of euro-skepticism across the continent has followed from that, exacerbated by the Crash.
Sky talking about Cameron perhaps resigning tomorrow
I was a big supporter of Cameron back in the day and I'm sorry it's come to this... But he should have got a serious deal with his renegotiation and the way he has threatened the very people that gave him his job has just been terrible...
Nottingham and Sheffield are the two biggest surprises tonight IMO.
Genuinely surprised that these results are a surprise.
I thought if Leave won overall it would be by the tiniest of margins.
Yep - I guess I did too. But when I think about it town by town in England outside London, Liverpool and Manchester I could never see any area where Leave could be confident of winning.
I cannot believe that we are even this close to potentially getting out of this nightmare. It's just marvelous. If we do go onto Leave, this day will be celebrated long into the future.
"yeah well we see what you are saying but the referendum isn't binding on us. Tell you what have another go in a few months time and if it is for remain then it's binding for ever and ever and ever...ever."
I do like the smell of sovereignty in the morning.
It's going to be a brilliant day today! I'm in total shock. I've wanted this day for decades and only a few hours ago I though we had no chance. i'm over the moon!
I do like the smell of sovereignty in the morning.
This is beyond my wildest dreams so far - still keeping it on low burn
After 40-50 years (since the days of the Suez Crisis, End of Empire, Sick Man of Europe, Managed Decline, etc etc) Great Britain is back. A great power returns to the scene. The world will take notice.
Owen Jones @OwenJones84 The people have spoken. That's democracy. And now we have to make this work, and defend all and any rights that are under threat.
What is it with left-wingers shooting themselves in the foot? Trying to get Sanders nominated in the US. Succeeding in making Old King Islington Labour leader in the UK. These are Liberal coups. This weekend might be Labour's last chance before it slides into irrelevance, but is there anyone strong enough left to wrestle Corbyn into submission?

All against par scores.

Doncaster 69% Leave
Shows which voters are decisive.
In my industry, Asians are the 'varsity. Why wouldn't we want them? Assuming you're left of centre, you've got to stop being one-eyed about this.
Trump can buy St Andrews for 10% less than he could 6 hours ago.

"The people have voted... the bastards"
A bright new dawn is it not?!!
