Tories not beating UKIP! Christ, even worse than we thought - those polls suggesting losing only half their seats were riotously bad (yes, the worse than ukip is in one area, but as an indicator it screams that they are going to struggle to get close to 10%).
Quick question. Has Brexit come less than first anywhere? Everybody's going "Oooh, the Libs/Greens are doing well and Con/Lab badly", but this level of success for Brexit is quite large. If this was FPTP they'd annihilate the oposition.

BXP - The establishment has been defeated, and we must leave with no deal LDs - The establishment (not us, we promise) has been defeated, and we must remain LAB - Look, don't blame us ok, we did better than the Tories at least Con - *sobs quietly* leave me along, alright? Green - even though we came behind another remain party, clearly we are the voice of the people UKIP - When you think about it, BXP just copied us so we really came top CUK - I am proud to be a member of the LDs.

Nige has been there done that with Ukip but still could not win a Westminster teeshirt.

And here we go with fascism again.... it really does get tedious.

This is different because it’s no longer an insurgency but a realignment. The two main parties are in big trouble.
Better for Greens and worse for the Conservatives than I expected. Tories losing CA three fifths of their votes to Brexit Party. About par for Brexit Party from what I see. They are picking up more votes from Tories but not quite converting all Tory plus UKIP votes, I think.

Jeez... Emily Thornberry telling it like it is.
(For those not watching on BBC - says basically Labour unclear on Brexit and should now back a 2nd Ref, and should then campaign to Remain)

Lab edge it over CUK by 1 vote

I'd be amazed if the seats in the NE aren't 1 Brexit, 1 Lab, 1 LD.

It's 2 Brexit, 1 Lab.
Gain 2 seats

And Labour were damn close to losing that one as well.

TBP won the first two seats, Labour the third.
Lib Dem: 36% (+29)
Brexit: 17% (+2 vs UKIP)
Labour: 14% (-8)
Conservative: 13% (-29)
Green: 9% (+1)
CHUK: 7% (+7)

Four words: David, Cameron, Theresa and May.
So, messages from the parties tonight
BXP - The establishment has been defeated, and we must leave with no deal
LDs - The establishment (not us, we promise) has been defeated, and we must remain
LAB - Look, don't blame us ok, we did better than the Tories at least
Con - *sobs quietly* leave me along, alright?
Green - even though we came behind another remain party, clearly we are the voice of the people
UKIP - When you think about it, BXP just copied us so we really came top
CUK - I am proud to be a member of the LDs.
Winners by geographic area matter in a FPTP General Election though.

The Lib Dems are storming in certain seats, and not only in those as affluent as this one.

Redbridge. Home of Mike Gapes' huge personal vote...Change UK not even registering a score in many of these.

Brexit about 43% in the North East?

Labour is holding onto much of its non-white vote.

Too little, too late - they would have got the seat if ChangeUK hadn't stood.

That’s not Brian Monteith the former Tory MSP and Scotsman columnist?
UKIP 4% CUK 3%

What extreme right is that?
> Lib Dems getting 17% but no seat in the NE, quite a threshold for a "PR" system
why should 17% get a seat when there are only 3 seats in the NE?

Labour on 19% in the NE is staggering.

Solid entertainment.
Brexit 240,056.
Lab 119,931
Lib Dems 104,330
Green 49,905
Con 42,395
> LD + GREEN higher than BXP at the moment according to BBC.
Shouldn't that be BXP+UKIP?
Thanks!!
> Nationwide now Brexit Party 31% LDs 20% Lab 17% Greens 12% Tories 7%
> UKIP 4% CUK 3%
There's more rural than urban to come, so I'd expect BRX to be up slightly from there. Staggered by the low C figure.

BXP plus ukip = more than 50%.

Does that equate to the North East region for the referendum, where about 70% voted Leave? If so, it might point to low 30s for Brexit overall.
(Ducks, runs for the door... )
> LD + GREEN higher than BXP at the moment according to BBC.

They aren't, that's why they weren't included.
Brexit 31%
LD 20% (+12)
Lab 17% (-13)
Greens 12% (+4)
Con 7% (-12)
UKIP 4%
CHUK 3%
