67th on their target list - they've gained some well past that, but not gained some in the top 10 either.

The SNP still dominates Scotland. It's not killed nationalism but the SNP might need to find something else to focus on for a few months. What it will have killed stone dead is the Conservative idea that Scotland is a foreign country -- the belief that gave us Osborne's gerrymandering boundary reforms and EVEL.

May is toast even if the DUP prop her up. How she is supposed to negotiate a Brexit deal from a position of strength is genuinely absurd. Who replaces her...? BoJo surely not. Rudd if she clings on?

Kellner had a good line earlier in response to Clegg having a good campaign, which I think applies to some degree to some good MPs going down. Basically, 'You expect there to be some connection between a good campaign/MP and the end result?'

I think the LD result is one short, as the LDs will hold O&S and are (apparently) a few hundred ahead in Fife NE.

Even as a hard right Brexit proves to be a seat-losing proposition, its proponents still find time to mourn the re-election of precisely the type of sparky centrist who could help them put together a new proposition.
