Early numbers would seem to favour Trump, but these are all rural areas so far. Still, Trump has made progress relative to Romney everywhere.0
-
The only trouble with the BBC is having to listen to Jeremy vine doing his elections-for-dummies spiel.0
-
First 3 counties from Indiana Trump overperforming Romney by a swing of 10 and 16%, and exactly the same as Romney in the third.
Average swing 8.7 so far in Indiana.0 -

Hillary is back to where she's been all day with Sporting on 305-315 ECVs.
The fun's all over folks - she's going to win comfortably within 10 points either side of this spread I would suggest, i.e. between 295 - 325, although I would favour the upper end.
Time to go to bed I fancy and hopefully have some profits to collect in the morning.0 -

His view is that Trump is winning W (NC) by a mile, while Clinton has a similar share of non-white voters.

Am watching Sky.
Kay Burley has just showed up on a boat (but so far she's not thrown anyone in the water though it's still early in the night)0 -
Both BBC and Sky have so much bias for Clinton which can only mean boring dialogue until the results pure in.0

When do we need to stick around until to get an idea of the direction of the night? I won't be staying up all night for this one, watched all night of GE2010, 15, and EUref, and all were miserable results for me! For what it's worth Frank Luntz is getting increasingly bullish about Clinton's chances and believes the Democrats have a serious shot at the Senate. He says it's looking more like 2012 than 2004.

Given that Pence is Governor of Indiana the Trump/Pence ticket was always likely to perform better in that particular state. Swings from 2012 therefore don't tell as much as you are implying.Speedy said:First 3 counties from Indiana Trump overperforming Romney by a swing of 10 and 16%, and exactly the same as Romney in the third.

Both states have very high white working-class populations (whereas most of the other northeastern states either have big minority populations, big educated white populations, or a very left-wing culture in the case of Vermont).0 -
Trump still outperforming the Republican Senate candidates in Kentucky and Indiana. Could be the most significant thing from the results so far.0
