    Not sure about that, in the NE the Tories stood still but benefited because Farage took Labour votes. Might have been different elsewhere I guess, I only noticed the NE seats where the Lab decrease was often the same as the BXP share

    The delay might actually be really good for England...another year of development for these players. Need to hope somebody like Gomez can improve as a centre back partnership of Maguire and Mings or Stones will always leak goals.

    Postponing the Euros for a year has probably been to the teams advantage.

    I don't know how they fit in all the Leagues, European games, Euros and be ready for a winter World Cup in 18 months.

    Several factors - deaths is a significantly lagging indicator, the demographics of the infected may be less likely to lead to death (younger?) and treatment has improved. IF (and its a big if) the US CFR of 4.6% holds they could be looking at ±500 deaths from today alone - but lets hope the ultimate outcome is a lot better than that.     A new high of 11,458 new cases in Florida. Only 16 deaths though. Must be a less virulent strain of the virus there than in most other places.

    Surely the deaths today would be people who first exhibited symptoms at the very least a fortnight ago, and probably closer to a month ago? So it isn't the relevant comparison - deaths now correspond to positive tests weeks ago, positive tests now to deaths in late July/early August.

    I've watched him closely due to my bet on Sheff Utd to finish top 6 and I'm not convinced about him.
    It is as much to do with the fact Pickford looks awful and not much other competition. Pope, hmmm, then who else? The big hope at one point was Butland, but he could be playing division one football in a few months the way Stoke are going.

    A month is about right. 7-10 days ill with the flu like symptoms, then you go downhill and 2-3 weeks in ICU. I believe the original Chinese data normally showed a month being roughly the time period.

    Postponing the Euros for a year has probably been to the teams advantage.

    I don't know how they fit in all the Leagues, European games, Euros and be ready for a winter World Cup in 18 months.
    Qatar isn’t close to being ready either, if it’s any consolation. Watch for the face-saving 12 month delay, with the virus as the convenient excuse.

One barber busy..... well showing a client out and welcoming the next one, ....... but both pubs that are open were very quiet Tables outside both but by no means all occupied. Some shops open but my wife and I both thought it quieter than a normal Saturday.
    The travel agent has shut down and the wine bar, which closed some time ago is up for sale.

    I believe you know if you're in real trouble after a fortnight. After week one, most get better but a few get worse. After week two, those that get worse are either in big trouble or not. But severe cases are rarely dead early in the third week - they might well be on ventilation and in the balance, but are normally hanging on in there unless they have major pre-existing issues.
