I guess we'll have to put this down to all the shy Labour voters who didn't want to express their true views due to the culture of right wing abuse on social media [is this right?]
I have to say I thought there were shy labour voters...when they were in the 20s. Didn't expect it when they were in the mid 30s.
They liked there services under Blair, new schools etc. How it was paid for they don't quite grasp.
If it's any consolation to my right-wing friends there's nothing that'll be more infuriating to Juncker and the rest of the unlucky people lumbered with negotiating a Brexit agreement than having no idea if the people they're talking to will still be in office in 3 weeks time.
Indeed. The EU wants an orderly exit. Keyword is exit.
My CCHQ sources says looks like the young voters did turn out, as well their middle class parents, and frightened grannies stayed at home.
That is what really struck me from that age break down poll showed earlier today, the Tories were losing in the middle age bracket. It is one thing being smashed in the youngster bracket, but at the start of the GE campaign May was a country mile ahead in the other two age brackets.

Very little change in Carlisle. Perhaps the Tories won't lose seats (outside of London). Could be that this is the "waste of time" election.
They only look like gaining in Scotland - so they'd need to lose no others outside London and hope the two cancel each other out. Seems unlikely when Lab are predicted to make such good gains, and will outperform the exit poll.
Tories crunched the numbers and don't believe it my arse.
"Comrades, this is your Leader. It is an honour to speak to you today, and I am honoured to be sailing with you on the maiden voyage of our Party's most recent achievement. Once more, we play our dangerous game, a game of chess against our old adversary — The Conservative Party. For a hundred years, your fathers before you and your older brothers played this game and played it well. But today the game is different. We have the advantage. It reminds me of the heady days of 1945 and Clement Attlee, when the world trembled at the sound of our Nationalisations! Well, they will tremble again — at the sound of our Glorious 2017 Manifesto. The order is: engage the Corbyn Drive!
"Comrades, our own Parliamentary Party doesn't know our full potential. They will do everything possible to test us; but they will only test their own embarrassment. We will leave our MPs behind, we will pass through the Conservative patrols, past their sonar nets, and lay off their largest constituency, and listen to their chortling and tittering... while we conduct Austerity Debates! Then, and when we are finished, the only sound they will hear is our laughter, while we sail to Brighton, where the sun is warm, and so is the... Comradeship!

Joking aside, in a rural professional environment then public support for Labour is a no-no at whatever age.

I think it was you that pointed that out earlier. If we had listened to you, we could all have won a lot of money.

"A great day, Comrades! We sail into history!"
Remember that?
How does anyone form a government with that? Especially since LibDems taking a hardline against being part of a coalition.
