If Scotland votes 'no' with devo max there will be the 'English question' to answer. I expect the row over England to begin around 7am
Is the english question " why are the english such a big bunch of walkover pussies who let everybody crap on them because they;re embarassed to say sod off and they're are too up their own arses to protest, that you can rape their daughters in front of them and they'll offer the rapist a condom ?"

Agree Alan, have you seen the Andrew gale WTF story, just to prove the point.
YouGov poll conducted AFTER people voted will be released at 10.30pm, it says #IndyRef
Ah so we will have an exit poll after all! Should mean I can get to bed at a civilised hour (after counting my profits of course) unless it's looking very close.
Its weird that Huw Edwards is hosting the BBC program, as far as I can remember David Dimbleby has always hosted election night programs. Is this the first one in a while that isn't Dimbleby?

I hope they don't go, they would have staggering levels of unemployment and no help from anyone. How can they not know?
That could happen in the short-, mediuam- and long-term, if the Scottish leadership after any Yes vote is criminally stupid.
To be honest, I can't see much difference for either side economically in thirty years time wrt relative GDP per capita. Scotland will have been absorbed into the EU after a long and withering process, and the UK will sail merrily along, probably outside the EU. Scotland will undergo a painful readjustment; if they are sensible they will use oil money to reduce the pain and make the country more attractive to the high-tech industries that they already excel at.
But I've no doubt there will be pain for Scotland in the short term if Yes win. If only when the good people of Scotland realise that Salmond's sold them a load of smoke and mirrors.
If there is a No, and especially a close No, there will be violence in the mid-term. Expect a bunch of @shhats like the SNLA / DHC to arise, although hopefully they will be just as incompetent as those idiots.
Listening to #5live.Behaviour impeccable.Well done to the Scottish people. If they pace themselves with the swally, then Scotland's reputation will be enhanced whatever the outcome.

It's not a proper exit poll.
It's more of a "got home, put on the lights, made a cup of tea" poll.

Yes but I bet the BBC are glad he's from Llanelli. They didn't want a very English or Scots accent on show tonight and I can't think of an N Irish candidate.

I had to question my sanity at the BBC today reporting on the far right backlash where the BNP spread grafitti on houses but the fact that rapists in Rham are still in business doesn;t count.
You've done a terrific job David - it's almost time to get yourself home for a large mug of cocoa, or whatever.
Hear hear! Quite apart from the suspense...did you enjoy it a bit too?
Yes it has been great fun. It has reminded me that politics can be utterly absorbing and the great British public fascinating.
Many thanks for all of the kind comments on here tonight. I really appreciate it. Two other polling stations in Dundee. One had just over 60% and one had 80%. The last of these was in a good area for us and gives me further confidence.
Mr. Thompson, Edwards will, sooner or later, replace Dimbleby on election nights too. He's not a good choice, as he's rather boring. Sophie Raworth would be a much better choice.

Huw's been lined up for the "big, momentous state occasions" job for a while now.

Actually, now I look at the issue, I must have missed this. The samples must be rather small for the smaller clubs, but there must be a fair sample for Rangers and Celtic. Just a bit surprising if it is true.

Kudo's to all the keyboard warriors (on both sides, grudgingly) I say. At least they get some exercise - all we get have to survive on is Malt and Tabs!!!!!!

I'm being allowed to stay up for a while longer but frankly I'm all in. I'll rest until 5am and wake to accept the plaudits.
Quiet holiday from next week.
