    Can I say, if it needs rule changes and more letters and VONCs and a crowbar then fine. Personally, I'm trying not to lose days of my work and life in popcorn eating distractedness, and though quick is good, the levering out of Boris, process or politics, isn't being done for my personal gratification, and it's rapidity is fine at the moment. So, I'll be away and popping in periodically whilst the political laxatives take their course.

    Julia Lopez was a culture minister.

    Lee Rowley was a business minister.

    Alex Burghart was an education minister.

    Neil O'Brien was a levelling up minister.

    1) You can make a case for that.
    2) Not on forecasts. Yes on last comparable actuals, but mainly because we fell further in Covid so the recovery looked bigger.

    I did wonder if Javid had got wind of Sunak's resignation and decided to join in before he was asked to go back to the Treasury. All other things being equal he would have been the obvious choice.
