All square going to the final hole, we will soon find out, though I agree my head says Rose and my heart Garcia. Rose, the 2013 US Open winner, already has a major
Do you consider her a different nationality, other than British?
On the basis of that article alone it is hard to see why we wouldn't.
The article claims she is bilingual but I doubt that's true. There was a section of the requirements which say "You Must Have This" and she translated it as "This bit you can ignore if you can't be arsed".
She says “It’s a complete unknown for everybody at the moment."
No it's not. The form listed the requirements in black and white.

I was answering the question of whether we'd consider her to be a different nationality, not whether she had filled out all the form requirements correctly, and if those requirements were reasonable or not.
Americans - especially those on the West Coast - are very lucky in this respect. It's late for us in Western Europe, but the early hours of Monday morning further east. If I was in Australia I'd have to use a days holiday for all four majors.

Yes and you are correct. Pong was asking a stupid and deliberately obtuse question that didn't deserve the dignity of answering directly. You chose to answer it and I agree with your reply. But the question doesn't actually relate to the actual issue - which was my angle.
I'd feel embarrassed to go along to such an event and get so worked up about what is sure to be either tedious pablum we've all heard a million times before, or stirringly delivered but likely silly political posturing and vague nonsense.
If the candidate is charismatic and has something genuinely new and interesting to say, while still being more than just talk, I could see the appeal, but how often does that happen?
He's taking a position in favour of a great revolution against "two extremes": that of the racist extreme right, which sets people of different ethnicities against each other, and that of the market, which turns everything into gold and money.
GO MELENCHON! I am beginning to think that the pollsters are right and that he could wipe the floor with Le Pen in round 2. Macron I think is flimflam, of appeal only to a small part of society, unlikely to get through to round 2, and with little chance of worrying Mélenchon even if he does. As for Fillon, he is even less likely to get through: he's holding his polling percentage using some kind of strange force which will soon disseminate. Mélenchon's opponent in round 2 if he gets through will be more likely to be either Le Pen or Macron - representatives of the "extremes" against which he is positioning himself. And their ceilings could be lower than anticipated. This guy is clearly capable of winning, and is a snip at Betfair at 15.
BF are also offering a Le Pen/Mélenchon runoff at 12.5.
Morning. Well i'm pleased I didn't wait up to watch the golf, that was a rather late finish! Well done Sergio, always good to see a new name on a Major trophy and the Spaniard is more than deserving of one!

In the current political climate that does sound more what people are looking for than Nick Clegg's long lost cousin. And the French have always had a liking for that kind of thing.
Can Putin make Jeremy Corbyn Prime Minsietr? Well if he does it will be the greatest comeback since the resurrection of Jesus...and how apt is that a week away from Easter?

How does someone deserve a major win other than by winning a major?

Think of it as a sort of Lifetime Achievement Award, perhaps.

Ha, good point
He was certainly one of the top players never to have won a big one, but as you suggest at that level it's much more the mental strength required to close out a win under the pressure of a big event.
The same is true of many sports of course, they all have their great players who have inexplicably gone their whole career without winning the biggest title in their sport.
IMHO, it was NOT a surprise to anyone who had knock on doors for politics in previous few years or who actually spoken to people who didn't live in London. Plenty of us on PB knew it was lost and bet accordingly.

That is only down 30% year on year. Amongst regional press, only the Wigan Evening Post is vanishing more quickly.

On topic: why can't he be Prime Minister of Vladivostok. Perhaps it is too capitalist.

(I bet on Justin...)
Night all.
I wonder what it's about?
It was well worth staying up for though.

And one of them not entirely gold related but with a birdie ....
