For a moment - a shuddering, horrific moment - I toyed with going Economy, then I looked at the prices. Insane for Economy. Biz was about twice as much, rather than 5 times as much. So I yielded to logic and went Biz
But if they can charge that much for Economy, then airlines are filling their planes, and then some

Given that volume of air travel between many locations is capacity constrained - a lot of airports are at max flights - not much opportunity to increase volume….

The new budget arm of Japanese Airlines, ZipAir, does budget lie-flat business seats. You get a full flat seat, but otherwise it's mostly just the same as economy - same food and so on. From about £1750 LA to Tokyo return. Sadly no London flights yet.

I went to NYC last year and few BA premium economy.
Was the first time I'd flew a long way and it was pretty good. The cabin crew were very "attentive" though on the flight home the meal gave me an upset stomach so I spent most of the flight going backwards and forwards to the toilet which is embarrassing at 30,000 feet lol...

Was the first time I'd flew a long way and it was pretty good. The cabin crew were very "attentive" though on the flight home the meal gave me an upset stomach so I spent most of the flight going backwards and forwards to the toilet which is embarrassing at 30,000 feet lol...

Interesting poll
2019 was a protest vote. I disliked Theresa "Go Home" May but still felt like a Conservative even if not in the Party. But my leaving the Tories now is a lot more substantial, the Tories under Sunak have turned their backs on aspiration and everything that made me support them in the past.
If the Tories only stand for being the party of inheritance and the party of the retired and screw people who work for a living - then they can choose to do that, but it will be without my vote. At either the local election, or the General Election too.
