Fascinating how people are looking a photo and coming to firm conclusions about the facial expression of the two sisters-in-law. Which I think is more a reflection upon the state of mind and mental process of the commentators?
Of course we all tend to come to these kind of snap judgments about other people instinctively, indeed reflexively. But then it's prudent, and kind, to make allowances. Personally think Kate looks more somber than severe, while Meaghan is wistful rather than smirkful. But that's just me.
