What has anyone learnt from this thread?
That nearly everyone on here is a devoted Tory..... and that Jack is the only poster who has made a comment which has been objective and therefore worth reading

Nice quote, Sir!dr_spyn said:
I divide my officers into four groups. There are clever, diligent, stupid, and lazy officers. Usually two characteristics are combined. Some are clever and diligent -- their place is the General Staff. The next lot are stupid and lazy -- they make up 90 percent of every army and are suited to routine duties. Anyone who is both clever and lazy is qualified for the highest leadership duties, because he possesses the intellectual clarity and the composure necessary for difficult decisions. One must beware of anyone who is stupid and diligent -- he must not be entrusted with any responsibility because he will always cause only mischief.MarqueeMark said:Ed is unemployable. He is that most dangerous person to have in any company - arrogance matched with stupidity.

Clear win for Cameron. He will have won over some Kippers with his vow on the EU referendum, something Miliband ruled out. Also hit home on welfare and immigration and allayed concerns on the NHS. Many undecided voters will also waver over casting their ballots for Labour after Miliband refused to say Labour spent too much. On Scotland too his refusal to do any deal with the SNP is also the final nail in the coffin for Labour as it has no prospect of a majority without a deal. A few good points for Miliband on zero hours but his slip at the end of his half hour summed up his night0

(Bearing in mind TV audiences are slightly more likely to be Labour voters)TheScreamingEagles said:

That and Ed's shocking denial about overspending. Ed's questioners by far the most aggressive. Thought Ed did well to take them on calmly. Most people would have got angry.SeanT said:

Because your average lefty voter is unreasonable. Clegg, quite rightly, tried to reason with the bloke in the audience that the result of the election meant a deal with Labour would have been very difficult. But most of the people who voted Lib Dem did so because they don't like the Tories. So they were never going to give the Lib Dems credit for anything they did in power.Freggles said:0 -
Clegg is polished. But you can tell no matter how well he does, it won't make any difference.0

Clegg - great answer to the bloke who whinged about voting Lib Dem and getting a Tory / Lib Dem coalition.

The elephant in the room: people who don't like the current level of immigration don't care if the migrants are claiming benefits or not - they just don't want them here.0

Clegg is doing alright but the event has lost its energy; so too have the audience; they don't seem too fussed about Clegg.0

Because "tuition fees" is just a hook for people to vent their real anger which is the LD getting off the fence. LDs got both left and right wing protest voters disillusioned in the main left and right wing parties.Freggles said:
