I think the convential wisdom is that there are a proportion of very floating voters who like to move to the winning side. Whether 'Project Fear' will energise enough otherwise abstaining Cons to vote to offset that is arguable. The fact is manhy voters do not stay at home out of apathy they stay at home as a choice. I'm worried that the next iteration of the Tory Party will be modelled on Reform and we don't want what's left of the Conservative brand being hijacked to give them a shot at real power.
