Suposed to be but the aurora watch site is down at the moment so no idea about the current strength of the solar storm. NOAA currently has it as a G3 but predicted to increase to G4 (last night was G5)
I'm getting the Aurorawatch updates via the API and the current status is "Yellow", or 2 on a 4 point scale. That would normally be pretty unexciting but it can stay more active than expected after a big shock so it might still be worth a look.
Switzerland storming ahead… but the public vote can be very different. Ireland doing well too.
Yes, Israel was always expected to win the tele vote, not the jury vote. Where always means after the leaks from Italy and Sweden at the semi-final stage.
Crowd embarrassing themselves by booing Israel results announcer
Why? It just shows the public view of Israel (both the country and the behaviour of the singer and her entourage) in the arena. And from what I've heard from friends there its throughly deserved...
Israel out to 60. Well done layers! (Unless there's a huge shock.)
It was absurd Israel was so short
It was, because they were always likely to have trouble with the jury vote. But Italian television showed Israel had 40% of the semi-final tele vote, and a Swedish poll showed the same. Add to that conspiracy theories about the war, and... no, you are right, they were too short.
Was the Swiss song really that good? Haven't heard it.
It wasn’t my favourite, but, yes, I thought it was good. The base is a catchy pop song, but it’s got some quirky bits where the singer can show off. The performance was great, with some fancy choreography.
Hanging juries? With Judge Roy Bean (or reasonable facsimile) aka "The Law West of the Pecos" presiding.
In addition to dealing with outlaws, rustlers, etc. with dispatch in his patch, the Judge was a keen music critic, at least to the extent of being a huge fan of Lilly Langtry. So much so that he called his combination saloon - law office "The Jersey Lilly" and the railroad hamlet where it was located Langtry, Texas.
Lilly Langtry had many, many admirers, from the Prince of Wales (later Edward Vii) and other royalty to humble admirers from near and far. However, Judge Roy Bean is the ONLY one to be reported (at least in the Paul Newman movie) to have ended his career in a blaze of glory, proclaiming "For Texas and Miss Lilly!"

Yes. I didn't like the song but the performance was terrific.
Switzerland for the performance. The thing I liked about the French entry it was actually a song.
Are you fucking kidding me - the French song was like every other overwrought dull french song on French radio. Ours was shit but at least it wasn’t a cliché.

The French guy is an established star, but also as the only Muslim singer may be getting political benefit.

Funny how UK gets points from the likes of Iceland, Ireland, Switzerland, Australia, all countries we've had some sort of association with over the years.

Speaking like that, being one reason there are so few truly true patriots?
Switzerland storming ahead… but the public vote can be very different. Ireland doing well too.
Switzerland clearly massively underpriced. It will be between them and Croatia.
PS: Switzerland? Really?
Switzerland 1.88
Croatia 2.2
Israel 9.4
Oh wait, done that already!
I laid at 5.4
F*cking LOL
I can't see them getting close at the moment. Even if the public vote is good for them.
Switzerland 1.8
Croatia 2.56
France 18
Ireland 18
Israel bouncing around 14, 50, whatever, as layers take their money.
In practice, yes.
What the heck is France doing second?
Still no points for poor Estonia.

For those not bothered to click we expect film to be at 24 frames a second, TV at 50 frames per second and anything else freaks our brains out.
Croatia 2
Switzerland 2.2
Israel 18
Ireland 30
France 30
No gays anywhere else.
Actually, ignore most of my betting tips!
Good to see Estonia get some points.
There's always the public vote 😈
Croatia 2.4
Israel 28
Ireland 44
France 55
