This is the jury votes is it not? They were cast last night.
    Oh yeah
Is that true? Not combined yet?
Yeah, jury vote first, public vote second.
What happens if the public vote gets the wrong result?

Is tonight's Eurovision worse than Brexit ?

    It highlights why Brexit happened.

Would you seriously vote to join a political union with this?
Every Eurovision turns me into a Federalist.
My basic rule is this: I couldn’t ever vote to join up with a country that can’t master basic banter.

I cringe into my hands annually at the hosting.
Imagine the Americans running it. WWE meets Superbowl and "commercials" every other song
Eurovision does have breaks - the BBC just show the "green room" interludes!

My problem with Eurovision is this: the songs from Finland and Israel are crap, and very camp. Cyprus is only marginally better, and way too short. So I don't want to back any of them. But they are also very Eurovision. So I am probably wrong.

Songs I think are actually good: Finland, Bulgaria, Norway and Australia. And the UK isn't awful.

Germany and France aren't bad either. But I don't think the German one is distinctive enough, and the French sign in French, which doesn't help them much.

Signing is an innovative approach to a music contest
