Of course that is desirable, and any halfway competent parent can filter their children's internet activity, but...what about the huge database that will be built up? What about tech savvy kids(most of them- and the ones that ain't tech savvy will know a kid who is). A simple VPN might get around it. Software like Kodi isn't going to be affected by the porn pass. Hell, my kids watch Premier League footie every weekend on the internet and their student house always host a Joshua boxing fight night. It is just window dressing.Benpointer said:

I agree FWIW. ISPs already have to ask whether you want to turn a child filter on (no child is going to be setting up the internet in their home). This just feels like more intrusion for the sake of intrusion.twistedfirestopper3 said:

Corbyn did squeeze left-wing voters from minor parties behind him but he has no more such voters to squeeze.
As I said it would be the most pointless general election in history, the voters would be bored stiff and in any case it will not happen as May now wants to cling on as long as possible without consulting the voters again and Tory MPs and members and the SNP have no interest in one either0 -
