Just two weeks to the minute after we saw the exit poll there’s some sensational new polling from YouGov for the Times. The figures are above. TMay is now trailing Corbyn as best PM.

The long she stays the more she damages the Tory party and ensures Corbyn becomes PM.

Tories adore their leadership contests, and settling scores with each other going back to the time of Brian Boru, but there's no sensible option but to keep calm and carry on right now.
They're both crap.
Partly, but also without a University and the broader intellectual life that I had become used to.
Hospitals are some of the most multicultural places to work, even in places like Cornwall or Cumbria.
Partly - just imagined that I replaced white with black or Asian then as a doc I would be in deep shit.
Gotta love the FTPA.
Maybe the next "sensational development" will be Jezza blowing his "popularity" somehow...
The contenders must wait they hear those footsteps turning towards the abandonment of Brexit, and then try to embody the change.

But seriously, the status quo ante would be unlikely to bring about an election in the current circumstances either...
And all the research and pretty graphs showed that that lead implied a 1983+ result.
But it didn't, and TMay will never fight another election. So who cares?

It is far more generous to UK citizens than the May proposal.
They are destroying themselves by trying to hold on to power with no majority. The more time they spend trying to hold on to power, the worse it will get for them.
Both the 2016 referendum and the 2017 general election were historic misjudgements on the part of their respective leaders. Their credibility is shot as the establishment party of government, but FPTP should ensure they come back.
Is this Bobby Sol's worst miss?

I prefer living in multicultural places like Leicester (where everyone is a minority) rather than in monocultural places. I like variety, and diversity.
Another leader now = another election in 6 months = Corbyn + McDonnell + Abbott as PM and CotE and HomSec - why the heck would you want that to happen?
The storage locker business is booming by all accounts.
I know I have...and no I don't own multiple homes.
