Are the pollsters beginning to herd/agree?

Looks that way. BXP north of 30, way ahead of a still-declining Labour. LDs still surging. Tories hammered.

This is going to be a bloodbath.

That's a hell of a claim for the Mail to make, they must have some bloody good evidence to run that, otherwise it will cost them a packet.

Whoah. No Deal now has a plurality over the combined Delay/Cancel options. No Deal is the preferred outcome.

Given the potential libel cost, they must surely have evidence to back up their claim? For the NF thing, we have a photo that has already been debunked.

Not my point. My point was no one on here has possession of the evidence, if there is any.
But the mere headline convinces some of its veracity.
Others are convinced by a photo that doesn't even look like who it is supposed to be.

Apparently 63% in Comres agreed that the BP should be part of the negotiations if they win most seats at the EU elections .

What’s to negotiate , no deal . What do you need to negotiate ?

And I look forward to them being debunked, if the claims are false as for Farage. The fact the Mail splashed the claim suggests they think it is true, or do they enjoy throwing away money on libel cases?

That would be an even worse performance for the Tories than 1997 but also would see the Brexit Party get the best performance for a UK wide 3rd party since the Asquith Liberals in 1923

47% back No Deal to only 41% for EUref2 on a forced choice.

46% also back No Deal to only 33% for revoke and just 12% for further delay, so No Deal narrowly beats revoke and further extension combined.

If the WA fails again guess it will be No Deal then, at least as far as the public is concerned

Not sure what more can be done. Most of the MPs are acting as though they are already campaigning for remain as it is, is Corbyn being dragged there reluctantly really that much of a drag? Yes, it seems like people are finally waking up to the fact that the LDs are completely unequivocal about being for Remain, but Labour are a Remain party, mealy mouthed comments about leaving notwithstanding.

But if people are really driven by Brexit, we will see turnout of 70% plus next week. That will not happen - and suggests a high degree of indifference.Probably half of those who voted in the 2016 Referendum will fail to vote next week.

Another reason why revoke is on as such a viable option, and always was going to end up being so - if no deal is so terrible then revoke must be an option to avoid it. Since most remainers in parliament at least seem to think any Brexit is as bad as no deal (they don't say as much, but given figures like Starmer are insisting on a confirmatory vote which they would campaign for remain in, they must assume any Brexit, even their own, must be avoided) then logically it cannot be risked.

It's going to be a long summer, seeing the Tories bitch at each other the whole time and defecating over the outcome of the elections whis week.

I have to admit, I quite like the Icelandic black metal / electronic fusion. Having watched it on Youtube I don't really get what's meant to have been so shocking about it though, just seems like a few people prancing around in PVC bodysuits with spikes stuck on them. I've seen worse at pub gigs, both musically and in terms of attempted shock value. Must be the effects of the internet warping my innocent mind earlier in life.

Reminds me of a speech given at the opening of the Olympics about how it is about everyone being equal, when the competition is about seeing who is better than everyone else and literally making them stand higher on a pedestal.

Look at the curve of the eyebrows, the nose, the set of the jaw (things that don't change over time).

Whilst I agree it isn't Farage, I need to point out that the curve of the eyebrows, jaw (esp the chin) and the nose do change shape over time. Fat distribution changes, your skin's capacity to produce collagen degrades, you lose teeth and bone, and bone thickens at those parts where muscles apply stress. So the skin slumps, the nose becomes peaky and angles downwards, your cheeks hollow and your chin inches forwards. The faces you have at 15, 25, 55, 75 are all different.

I think No Deal fairly likely simply because everything else has been tried and found wanting. But at that point I think reality will finally hit after three years. It will be nasty.

Remarkable that all Remain voters still haven't woken up to that.

Not always that much. I'm sure we all can cite instances where we can instantly recognise a photo of a relative or acquaintance at a young age even if we only knew them when they were older. Not the case with everyone, sure, but while the faces are different they are often still perfectly recognizable. Heck, I was watching an episode of the original Man from UNCLE a few months ago and there was a young actor who was very recognizable for some reason, and turns out it was Kurt Russell as a teenager.

The Inside gossip is Labour won't get more than 20% and Greens/Yellows will do better. Brexit party slightly better, too

Given half the performers/fans would be thrown off the top of the nearest tall building, probably not...

Voting is open and here are some win-only odds. Netherlands are fav at about 4/6. Switzerland 2F (I tipped them on Tuesday) at 6/1, Australia 3F at 8/1. Denmark (you'll remember they were my other tip for a top 4 place) now a modest 100/1. Oh dear.

If you have an account with more than one exchange the Dutching opportunities look huge (with the execption of NED to win, funnily enough). AUS to win is 12s on Betfair and 7 on matchbook as I type.

Mail story about the bouncing Czech.

The bouncing Czech was Bob Maxwell (former Labour MP)

But I thought the Geoffrey Robinson story was very old news. I’m sure I knew this a decade or more ago

How do you know what that’s like?

Yeah, I know, should have said bouncing cheque. My bad.
Robinson was at school with the Eurovision runner up in 1961 (one of the Allisons) before they became famous for a year. As was I.

    Unconvinced.

Farage was a 15 year old Dulwich College public school boy in 1979.

Neither the age nor the clothes look right to me,

Saw that a few days ago. These people are so desperate I feel sorry for them. Wouldn’t back that being Farage at 10,000/1

If everyone agrees to vote either LD or Brexit Party on Thursday, we could turn it into a second referendum. (I don't claim this as an original thought).

In that case, I'd better vote Brexit.

Or should I do a Rian Johnson, and subvert all your expectations and vote LibDem?
