Yawn. Have you seen them recently?

    Both old and ill...

Trump's Alpha vitality will grind them to dust.
I thought Trump was older than Clinton.
    He is. Both of them.

But has 10 to 15 years on them in youthfulness and energy...
And a good 60 years on them in mental maturity!!

  • Now number 10 have dropped the cut. What an unnecessary stupid budget from Osborne. Omnishambles 2012 happened because he wandered over to the USA and did not spend time on the budget. OmnishambIes 2016 happened whilst Osborne spent his time on the referendum scorIng points .

A quick side question - who was the last former Party leader to subsequently resign from Cabinet ?

I can't think of a Party leader who, after leadership, served in a Cabinet and then resigned.

Does William Hague count? Bearing in mind Chamberlain would not have resigned had he not been dying at the time, likewise Macdonald. We could be looking as far back as Lansdowne and that was under rather unusual circumstances.

EDIT - I think the last policy resignation could actually be Hartington under Gladstone in 1885.

My guess is Hunt to IDS's old job and kill two problems at once. Boris to Health to finish off a third...

Jeremy Hunt is the only cabinet member who has the courage of his convictions it seems.

That said Boris to health would be utterly hilarious.
Plenty of Tories have the courage of their convictions, but sadly most of these don't have the wisdom to realise that their convictions are wrong.

Problem is, from the outside, it all looks like it's falling apart for Cameron and Osborne.

In the end this is what happens when a pair of EU fanatics find themselves at odds with about 90% of their Party... Dodgy Dave has managed to keep himself of the fence for a decade but his true colours have been revealed - And now he makes an overwhelmingly eurosceptic party look completely divided when it isn't really... It's just that it's divided from him (and Osborne)

He probably gets his EU Ref win but this only ends one way - With Dave and Osborne being removed by the Tory Party.

Personally I wish both parties would officially split into their loony and non-loony components (they wouldn't object to the terms, I assume, as each perceives the other as the loons), it'd make things easier for the rest of us.

Cameron and Osborne need to do the honourable thing and resign before they cause any more damage to the party.

If Cameron and Osborne stay in office until the local elections on 5 May, that very message is going to be heard loud and clear from the Tory party rank and file and probably also the 1922 Committee.

Leave is an amazingly good buy on the betting markets at 11\5.
