  • Why are CNN still running with "Tight Race For Second"? Surely they mean "Third"?
  • Danny565Danny565 Posts: 8,091
The most crucial thing IMO: CNN just said that Sanders is beating Clinton by 2:1 with low-income voters.

If Sanders is combining the blue-collar white vote with the "Guardianista"-type middle-class liberal vote, that is a pretty strong coalition.

As I said earlier, I would expect that Sanders would be ahead in polls in the likes of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, etc, where there aren't a HUGE number of black voters.

Just finished writing a TV pilot, been out the loop.

So Trump didn't fail to win tonight and his bid is not effectively over. Did I miss anything else? Certainly looks like Trump has taken a very large hammer and smashed the rest of the Republican field into sub-atomic particles. Quark!

The Trump victory speech should be quite a spectacle after last week, smug does not begin to cover it!
  • Trumps victory speech will be the most significant event of the night. How will he play it? Decisions decisions. This speech will decide how I bet in future,

It's all about Nevada now for the Dems, that's the next one that votes.
Sanders was 4 points behind there.

Hillary is much stronger going on the social inequalities IMO (blacks, women, etc.). Whether you like her or not, no-one can deny she was ahead of her time when it comes to women's rights especially.

No-one's going to believe she's going to be more of an attack dog on Wall Street than Sanders.

Aye its all about how he reacts now.
Indeed but I think very little will stop him now, provided he beats Cruz in South Carolina he should then sweep most of the Super Tuesday states
I agree but depends on his tone. He could win or lose this on how he goes.
His opposition is so hapless he would have to have the mother of all meltdowns for that to happen
Lets see what he says. This is his moment. Will he take it?
The voters have said it for him!

He's Donald J. Trump. He'll say something boastful about himself and make fun of his opponents. You were expecting Thomas Aquinas?

As much as I love you Plato (and I do) I feel your level of mockery at the GILMOREAGASM now erupting over the face of NH now its reached 37 votes reveals the total lack of awareness that one who dwells in facts can only imagine.

The average Bernie donation to his campaign is something like $30. What he's done so far is remarkable.

I can't get over how few votes he's getting. Surely he'd tally more simply by mistake.

Sanders couldn't be more different than Hillary in speaking style.
He is full of passion and clarity, Hillary is too cold and vague.
