Looking at the above tweets it is clear that the Tory plan for winning the London Mayoral contest is to portray Sadiq Khan as Corbyn’s man in London. This makes sense given the dire personal polling Corbyn has, coupled with some of his more interesting policy positions and comments should be a negative for Khan.

After all we are still working on the basis of the 2001 census (until 2018 I believe)
However, Corbyn is a millstone around his neck, as are his previous comments on quotas. I thought a while back that Goldsmith would be a shoe-in. His lacklustre campaign, combined with Khan's pro-activeness may mean that is no longer the case. But it will be extremely close.
Even I spotted it.....
I don't really know, but I seem to recall @bigjohnowls saying less than complimentary things about him
The position is slightly worse, as the current boundaries are based on the electoral registers as at 17 February 2000. There is no linkage in the UK to the census as the constituencies are based on eligible registered voters rather than population.
The next review is about to start this spring and will be based on the December 2015 electoral registers; hence the fuss Labour has been making on individual registration and the reduction in registered voters in their urban heartland.
You have to remember the rule that "Labour benefits" = good while "removal of bias" = gerrymandering.
Now that is obscure.
We'll probably see Labour lose ground in the less high profile contests.
That would be a feast of puns, esp if they didn't see eye to eye after a few months
"...that comment earned the Prime Minister the wrath of Khan..."
Call that a Star Trek reference? Pah! I would have thrown in a Klingon proverb and two Moby Dick speeches...

Textual analysis of rugby songs for beginners.
As a Tory I can console myself with the idea that Kahn's victory will tempt Labour to keep Corbyn after all and also the thought that Zac would be a bloody nuisance as mayor holding up the inevitable Heathrow expansion even longer.
While I still think 'to go boldly' is better than 'to boldly go', how else would you word 'is expected to more than double' in any way as succinct, comprehensible and easy to say?

Thanks.
OK, moving on...
But the system itself is biased towards one of the larger two parties. It should treat any party that achieves 37% broadly the same.
That's a bit weak isn't it? You can almost hear the rest of the sentence "There will be many occasions when I agree with Jeremy Corbyn..." BUT...
Didn't take long to find this:
"There will be occasions when frankly speaking I disagree with Jeremy,” he says, naming support for a new runway at Gatwick, a belief that businesses can drive job growth and prosperity and “unequivocal” backing of a reformed European Union as key points of difference.

Someone needs to do an analysis of his cookbooks and see how many recipes don't contribute to a healthy eating plan.

Nothing wrong with whipped cream - it's a sensible thing to put on a dessert. Chocolate fudge not so much.
On the other hand, if Labour dont win the mayorality it will be a bit of a shocker.
It's no coincidence that Corbyn is most popular there.
I can't see Khan losing in such friendly territory barring a major scandal.
However, a list of the convoy volunteers obtained by BuzzFeed News reveals that three of the men who travelled alongside Kotey are now known as extremists. Among them was Afsharzadegan, who was in the same sub-group of 25 volunteers. The British-Iranian terror suspect travelled to Somalia in 2006 to be trained by a top al-Qaeda operative, and intelligence agencies believe he was sent back to Britain with instructions to recruit members for al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab.
Afsharzadegan was a leader of the London Boys network, through which Emwazi is believed to have been radicalised.
Another member of Kotey’s group on the convoy, Amin Addala, has also been named in court as a member of the network. And a third volunteer, Manchester-based Munir Farooqi, was convicted of terror offences in 2011 after attempting to recruit two undercover police officers to join the Taliban in Afghanistan. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Yes, I don't think anyone sensible demands total disagreement on everything. I quite often agree with David Cameron on something or other without thereby feeling I'm a pbTory.
