    I have the suspicion that Watson will really be the power behind the throne.
    He sounds like he want's to bully Corbyn and be his bouncer at the same time.

    I think it's because the word that springs to mind when I hear his name is 'pugnacious', and of course in a victory speech he is bound to be more reasonable.

    Ok, 'Only Labour can speak for the real Britain' is a line of supreme bullshit though. That's the the partisan thinking of labour and Tories that leads to them doing shady things because anything is worth doing as only they can help Britain.

    I wonder if Watson's victory is made to look more overwhelming than it actually is, due to them not counting the final-round votes. I suspect the bulk of Flint's second preferences would've gone to Creasy, perhaps enough to reduce Watson's winning margin to something like 55-45.
