The priorities for the Conservative Party since the election:

    1. Private Royal Mail

    2. Remove support for the poorest at University

    3. Gut the BBC

    4. Cut Corporation Tax

    5. Remove tax credits to push children into poverty

Labour need to learn from the Conservatives and let their manifesto have no reflection to their actual beliefs.

Of course, none of this should be be any surprised when you consider the type of highly privileged sociopaths that would join the Conservative Party in the 80s and 90s. They fundamentally believe they are superior to the poor, in the same mindset that led to slavery.

The Tory/"libertarian" dream is for children to grow up in poverty, neglected by parents who have to force two jobs to make ends meet, have no state whatsoever support after 18, if they have the good fortune to go to university then force them into a lifetime of debt, then a lifetime of unskilled-or-semi-skilled servitude to the super-rich who control giant corporations.

Then claim that's "freedom" and "liberty".

Interesting that we seem to consistently get drawn in. Greece certainly are their own worse enemies undoubtedly but for some reason I just find the whole thing about the EU circus somewhat distasteful. The hypocritical stance of the EU over agreements when Greece ignore them but it appears perfectly ok for the EU to do the same.....

What gives Juncker the right to tear up a previous deal? Nothing, nothing whatsoever will get in then ay of the project even formal agreements. It is worrying very worrying. Wars have started for less.

    Daily telegraph

Britain will be liable for close to £1 billion of emergency loans to Greece, it can be revealed, after Jean-Claude Juncker tore up a “black and white” deal to protect UK taxpayers from Eurozone bailouts.
George Osborne, the Chancellor, today attempted to fight off a proposal to raid the EU budget to save Greek banks from financial collapse... The proposal tosses aside a written agreement between David Cameron and his counterparts that stated British taxpayers would never again be exposed to Eurozone bailouts.

Could we perhaps go the whole hog & offer to let them use £ sterling? They might prefer to become 'British' as it were.

And the Living Wage and further raising of the tax threshold for lowest earners

It looks like the Hunting Bill repeal will now fail with the SNP and Tory rebels joining Labour, even though the law essentially brings England into line with Scotland

There is no proposal to repeal the Hunting Act 2004.
Which is why I said what it really does is bring the 2 nations into line
