I have and I just accept it as part of the calendar. I have some petty philosophical objections but in the end i think it’s largely harmless and good to recognise diversity in the fullest sense.
Indeed my townhall later this month will be pride-themed, and I’m planning to open with “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” by Sylvester.

I agree entirely. But I think celebrating “pride” is not un-positive.
Of course the corporate virtue signalling is a bit silly, but almost all public life is nowadays.
I agree on that too! I have always tried to be a good ally to my LGBTQ friends. When companies do it it occasionally feels ingenuous, but you only have to look under the "comments section" on social media when a company posts a pride flag to understand why it's still necessary.
I remain of the view that Labour will probably get slightly less than 40% and the Tories at least 25%. Not sure about the other parties, or the size of the majority.
