    Tiverton thoughts.
Impact in national picture - cheesy photo op with Davey and his hammer breaking a wall of blue cardboard boxes whilst local LDs cheer if LDs win gives some wind to their sails and we see 16% in some polls?
Fall short and its all SKS gains and LDs struggle to get coverage/lose deposit in Wakefield/can't win for porn and drift down towards 10%?
Colourful descriptors aside a big one for their prospects given how hard it is to get exposure with very small taxi firm/disappointing unicycle parade numbers of MPs

In Wakefield they do the photo ops with rhubarb, not cheese.

I get the firm impression that the Conservatives are in the same electoral denial as the Lib Dems were between 2010 -15 and hence are unable to face the perilous position they are in, despite being told and told again by those who have only their best interests in mind.
They simply have to get rid of Johnson. There is no alternative. The Lib Dems stuck with Clegg and where did that get them, wipe out comes to mind.
Betting odds on the Lib Dems at Tiverton now out at 1-7 to 1-8 on with the Cons drifting downwards at 9-2 and 5-, that says something.
