Then again, VVP probably doesn't have much of a problem with illegal immigration into Russia.
One of his biggest problems is emigration. As in, anyone with the means and resources to get themselves and their families the hell out of Russia, has done so in the last two years.

Walking around my part of the world at the weekend you can usually tell the Russians from the Ukranians, because the Russians have men in their group but the Ukranians are all women and children.

Gaetz 'paid for sex' – attorney for witnesses

A lawyer who is representing two women who gave testimony to the ethics committee of the House of Representatives investigating Matt Gaetz has said in an interview that the former congressman paid the women to have sex with him.

The two women were adults at the time but also told lawmakers that she witnessed Gaetz having sex with a 17-year-old at the same party she attended, ABC News reported.

This was investigated by the DOJ for years, and they found nothing for which they could charge him.

Yes, I've seen some of these not-Attenborough videos. Soon we will be treated to Keir Starmer confessing to the Southport murders, no doubt.

Hutton getting pasted by NFU chair on Newsnight.

Gets quite tetchy and so drags Brexit into the argument.

There’s lots of Labour supporters and #FBPEs on Twitter, basically saying that the IHT changes are punishment for farmers for voting to leave the EU.

Not exactly the Budget pasty tax furore, is it? What happened to that growth they voted for in July, SKS?

"High Street job losses are "inevitable", prices will rise, and shops will close as the result of the tax increases in the Budget and other rising costs, a group of the biggest retailers in the UK is warning.

Tesco, Amazon, Greggs, Next, and dozens of other chains are urging the Treasury to reconsider some of the measures."

I was saved from a taxi driver trying to extort more money, by the arrival of the secret police, in Morocco.
My ex's father crashed a car on a remote island off Papua New Guinea. He and his local colleague were found by tribesmen, and say they saved themselves by chucking cartons of cigarettes at the tribesmen. Cigarettes, apparently, being very prized. The tribesmen helped them back onto the road.

He absolutely loved PNG; said it was the best place in the world, and even better than Oz.

You would like to think so, especially for those whose pensions are calculated to include the bonuses paid out on bogus figures. Can't see it happening though.

If it really is going to be just four prosecutions (some time in the distant future) one wonders who it will be. Maybe Betfair really should run a market.

Gareth Jenkins would be sure to be one, since he has all but confessed.

Paula Vennells is a nice scapegoat, so I guess she's in.

The ridiculous Jarnail Singh is another condemned out of his own mouth, although his extreme stupidity may get him off.

John Scott, who ordered the shrerdding of incriminating evidence, would be another strong candidate.

Former CEO Tim Parker should be included, because he was the one who refrained from informing the Board of the damning advice from its solicitors, but he tends to be regarded as one of the Great And The Good, so he may swim through the net.

You don't really have to try too hard to find other strong candidates, but if it is only going to be four the bar is set very high indeed.
Surely the Welsh woman who later became a big cheese at the Football Association of Wales should be in the firing line. She was a dreadfully confused witness.

There are so many to choose from, but why should for example all the Business Secretaries and their Ministers in charge of the Post Office from say 1997 to GE 2010 get away free. The buck stopped with them.

There's a great LNG liquefaction plant in PNG.

The problem, as was identified earlier, is that lots of behaviour was unethical (such as withholding information from the board), and which would be a firing offence, but which falls short of being a criminal offence.

They ran a fishing company; catching fish that were common in the waters off PNG, but could get a very good price in top restaurants in Oz. I really don't know how they made any money out of it, at least from doing that, as transport costs would have been phenomenal.

Not to worry. The Assistant to the Regional Manager in No.11 will sort it all out.

    Good morning, everyone.

Mr. Jessop, in medieval times, large fish were a pretty good gift. They were often transported alive to keep them fresh, so maybe the same thing happens between PNG and Australia.

Edited extra bit: shade sleepy, so I may have accidentally addressed a point you never actually made :p

    Nobody votes Labour for growth.

You vote Labour because somebody else has money that you want, without the inconvenience of working for it.

She’s busy doing a back dated economic report on how great derivatives are. Back dated to 2007…

Taxing jobs cuts jobs and pay shocker.

We tax cigarettes to prevent people smoking, taxing employment does the same thing.
Surely the companies should make less profit and he happy. That is what people on here were saying at the time.

Absolutely no idea; he did mention many types, but I can't remember.
