I don't do a great deal of betting but I'll be focusing on Scottish constituencies and any interesting English seats that seem to be slipping under the radar.
My initial 'oh really?!' Tip is to look out for Stirling and Strathallen, I suspect it might be the jaw dropper if the SNP really go south in the campaign. Right now I'd say 4/1 Tories would be about right1 -

Evening all
We now have 6 weeks of this nonsense to endure - every single point move in the polls becomes of seismic importance.
A few very early thoughts - debates? When, how many, with whom? What usually happens after an initial excitment it all goes quiet until the final couple of weeks. The Conservatives have to hope something happens or make something happen - Labour has to pretend it's the party that's 20 points behind and fight, scrap and claw for every vote in every seat.
Labour's activists should be motivated and ready to go on the doorsteps, the Conservatives will have their diehard workers but not much else and will be fighting a defensive campaign.
If I were Labour, I'd be pushing hard on the Government's record in general and Sunak's in particular - don't waste time on ancient history such as Johnson or Truss.
People also get hooked up on their experience and say things like "I can't believe" based on the notion that if something hasn't happened it can't happen. Being limited by what you believe can happen as distinct from what can actually happen is what keeps bookies rich and in business.1 -
I suspect his reason will change from moment to moment. I'd respect it if he just said he has no interest in being an MP, but would be happy to aid in a political campaign.williamglenn said:

When I was her age, I'm pretty confident I was better informed. But you picked up news by osmosis. There were only 4 TV channels, and news was a significant proportion of what was on. Even if you weren't seeking it out you would pick stuff up. Nowadays with non-linear TV if you don't go looking for news it's possible to remain surprisingly uninformed.6 -

When I was her age, I'm pretty confident I was better informed. But you picked up news by osmosis. There were only 4 TV channels, and news was a significant proportion of what was on. Even if you weren't seeking it out you would pick stuff up. Nowadays with non-linear TV if you don't go looking for news it's possible to remain surprisingly uninformed.1 -

Every decision taken during the Chibnall era was wrong. It's pointless pointing to a specific one, since it was just one large steaming pile of wrong. Jodie's interpretation was wrong. The redesigned Daleks were wrong. The fam were wrong. The CyberTimeLords were wrong. Flux was an enormous serialised wrong. The costume was wrong. The Sunny Delight Master was wrong. The Timeless Child made me cry with the wrongness. It was just rubbish from day one to day last.

So what are the key election milestones?
- Campaign launch: main point of note I've heard several people joke about was Rishi in the rain
- Initial polling response this weekend and next week: do we see an initial shift as the date is set, or a continuation of the recent trend? Could shape the narrative
- Manifesto launch: when can we expect these? Does anyone read them?
- Debates: will we have any, how many and who with? Difficult one to determine as, other than the main two parties, you have SNP in clear third place in seats, Lib Dems likely to win seats but neck and neck with Reform in polling, and the Green party not that far behind. I expect we just see Labour Vs Tories.

Whitaker’s years broke the cardinal rule - never, ever have more than two companions. The show is just 45 minutes now, not the extended, long drawn out productions of the 1960’s or even Davisons doctor. There is simply not enough time or things to do for so many characters.DecrepiterJohnL said:

And in the end too many of the companions seem to turn into mini Doctors. That is not the role of the companion. They are there to represent the viewer.4 -
