Is there a football match on?

I hadn't heard. They've kept this very quiet. How can they expect viewers if they don't tell anyone that the match is on? ;)

I thought the winner of football was decided in 2014?

As I said, England will possibly this. Easy win, loosens the legs and onto the final.

If Sterling were able to make good decisions in front of goal, he would be an amazing player.
As it is, he’s just very, very good.

To be quite blunt, given the FSB have killed one person and seriously injured four others in Wiltshire through a mix of hubris, gross and unpardonable incompetence and chemical weapons, I would have thought even the most fanatical England supporter would invite such supporters to get stuffed.

If Russia is so anti separation of the nations of the Old Soviet Union maybe they might also stop supporting the SNP

This England team keep on surprising on the upside. It reminds me of the cricket team in 2004.

So the view from the Spurs changing room that ‘arry is a bit greedy in front of goal might just be true. Let’s hope his Golden Boot chase hasn’t cost us the game.

In a statement to The Post, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, "[Kelly] was displeased because he was expecting a full breakfast and there were only pastries and cheese." Mandy Johnson, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Mission to NATO, said she was not able to provide immediate comment.

Just to link the two top stories, here is how much the (English) public care about leaving the EU versus winning the World Cup:
    https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dh0fRCwXkAEs9AB.jpg:large
On the one hand this is a bit obvious - people really care about winning the world cup.
But there are definitely a lot of things you wouldn't give up to win the world cup, so this places brexit on a scale of sorts.
  • JonathanJonathan Posts: 21,352
