We voted to leave the EU. It is now up to the elected Conservative government to take that forward. Owen Smith wants to ignore the result and carry on. May could do that, but it would be a courageous decision.rcs1000 said:

Owen Smith's idea of campaigning at the next GE to re-join Europe must mean he accepts the Euro or he hasn't thought it through. Corbyn wanting out of Europe is due to his renationalisation programmes0

Just thought: a large number of the people who voted for Brexit will be dead before it finally happens. And by then a lot of the rest of us will wish we were, including most of the Department for Brexiting the Life Force, or whatever it's called.Paul_Bedfordshire said:

A trope that is often banded about about the Tories. Weren't they all supposed to have died out post 97? No, people just grow up.Dadge said:

Labour debate incorporates an argument about the death of all Jews?0

I remember reading a meme that Corbyn must read A Very British Coup every year before Xmas, put it under his pillow and spend all night Xmas eve wishing really hard for a left wing miracle.
The fact the whole novel was based on the idea of the Kremlin having foreign currency reserves large enough to support he UK is quite hilarious. The USSR was bleeding dollars by the late 70's, and that was before the oil bust.
I'm thinking about this too much aren't I....0 -
Corbyn says nothing of substance at all. Gets huge cheers by saying how good it'll be to promote community cohesion and anti racism. How's he going to do it? He just repeats the same crap over and over.
Owen smith is much worse of course but the real loser here is the Labour Party. Real state of a party.0 -
I really didn't think that anyone could make Jeremy Corbyn look like a competent politician.
Bravo Owen Smith, you have proved you're at least good for one thing.0 -

That was appalling. Smith is untouchably bad. Almost made Corbyn look good. Wouldn't be surprised if the latter won the leadership by 70% or more.0
