Corbyn going on about poverty and inequality - his favourite subjects.

Only problem is they come low down on MORI issues index.

We voted to leave the EU. It is now up to the elected Conservative government to take that forward. Owen Smith wants to ignore the result and carry on. May could do that, but it would be a courageous decision.

I remember reading a meme that Corbyn must read A Very British Coup every year before Xmas, put it under his pillow and spend all night Xmas eve wishing really hard for a left wing miracle.
The fact the whole novel was based on the idea of the Kremlin having foreign currency reserves large enough to support he UK is quite hilarious. The USSR was bleeding dollars by the late 70's, and that was before the oil bust.

This whole grammar schools ploy must be May getting it under the radar whilst Labour fight so she can shift to the centre for the rest of the parliament whilst the hard right chew on having a little bit of the 1950's back....right?

Hmm.... The Treaty of Rome dates from 1958 after all....
If steam trains come back onto the mainline as part of this time travel, my dad will be happy. Although diesels will always have a special place in his heart as his father was a shunter driver in a rail yard.
Although he said my grandad seemed to mainly make tea and talk with the other drivers when he visited him. British Rail.

My favourite bit was when Corbyn gets mobbed at the end Owen who stood on his own decides to walk off stage looking for a supporter

How much popcorn will I need? ;)

You won't be able to find enough in the Country after that depressing display of the dying embers of the labour party. I find it very sad and I am a conservative who should be over the moon

I really didn't think that anyone could make Jeremy Corbyn look like a competent politician.

Bravo Owen Smith, you have proved you're at least good for one thing.

I was one of the first who noticed it back in early July.

As I said many times Corbyn wins by default because his enemies make him look good by comparison.
In the end there's onky one winner from that debacle, God must surely be smiling on the vicar's daughter!

Oh to be a fly on the wall in No.10 watching this tonight. The PM must be laughing her head off at those two clowns, that early election she dismissed must be tempting.

Big G, Would you fancy a modest wager that the polls over the next couple of weeks will continue to show Labour hovering around the 30% mark?

I was in Mosborough/Crystal Peaks this evening, you wouldn't know there was a by election on

Sheffield's curious love of naming places after porn stars...Crystal Peaks...PenisTone
    Penistone is Dingeland*, not Sheffield

*Barnsley to the rest of the world
Penistone sounds more like Dong land than Dingeland
Is Penistone any relation to Edstone?

How long until Harry is back? :o

I think it was going to be a couple of months while he works through his analysis of the new boundaries.
