So far this presidential election is now the latest to declare a winner since 2000 (which was itself the latest to declare a winner in over 100 years), that went on for 5 weeks before a winner was declared, hopefully this one will not take that long

I am badly missing my gym. I used to go there, do 30 minutes hard work on the crosstrainer, say hi to a few acquaintances, and walk home and shower, change, eat. Then I would get a natural high which kept me sane until bedtime.

I need to replace it. With what? I don't like jogging at all. It's too cold to work out ,outdoors, even if it were possible.

I need the brief sharp intensity of 30 minutes on a crosstrainer, BPM 110-120, using all those muscles.

Is this do-able to home with juse a yoga mat and some determination?

There is an outdoor gym within primrose hill park. Past the swings and the toilets/cafe building. Used to be unused but has been discovered.

There's also one just outside Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre.

Just as a note. The USSS has already considered the possibility of having to escort Trump out of the White House door.

The chances of it having to occur are very, very small mind.

Some wanker on some news network has mentioned something about 100k provisional ballots in Penn that are trump leaning and I'm too tired to research this to see how bollocks it is so I've taken a tiny hit on my Penn profits to cash out.

Pretty important this one. Biden likely to be slightly over 3k once remaining mail ins counted. Provisionals at around 5k (won't all be counted). Importantly the overseas will likely most be civilian. This isn't the army coming to Trump's rescue. This is expat US citizens and I can't see them favouring Trump by the amount he'd need to win.

Ah checked in with DD and they have the numbers. Sounds like Gwinnet says hi. Not sure if that's just absentee or if it's provisionals too. Could be a few more absentee out there but not much. We'll know remaining overseas shortly. This doesn't look good for Trump.

NC I think they'll take. AZ... well I think that's a stretch and more hope than expectation. I don't think Biden is going to lose the next bunch of Maricopa updates by enough to lose the state. The recount in GA is unlikely in the extreme to overturn a 4400 vote margin (assuming it stays that way, I'd not expect much change from here on out). I think we're looking at 290+ for Biden.

Have a look at the UKIP stats in Scotland and at SNP policy on who gets Scottish passports - not to mention who gets to live in Sciotland at all.

The SNP{ aren't the ones who scream and shout at other Europeans sitting in Holyrood. Or in Westminster. Hell, the Tories scream and shout at Scots sitting in Westminster.
Gotta say TSE, with the exception of some of the older school nutters, the SNP are much much less nativist than the Tory part.

I have, they are dreadful. I have also encountered the union trolls. I get an earful from my mother-in-sin every time I go for dinner about how Sturgeon is a terrible hussie who is a traitor and wants to blow the UK up and put us all on the groat and...

    LOL.

Trump will no longer receive special Twitter treatment if he loses election.

Policy that protects ‘newsworthy individuals’ from having accounts banned for breaking rules wouldn’t apply to Trump.

Donald Trump could lose more than just the presidency this January. Twitter has confirmed that, if Trump leaves office, he will no longer receive special treatment as a “newsworthy individual”.

Twitter’s policy around newsworthiness protects certain people – such as elected officials with more than 250,000 followers – from having their accounts suspended or banned for rule infractions that would otherwise lead to severe penalties.

That policy is what has led to the company muting, but not removing, at least 12 tweets from the US president over the past week that cast doubt on the democratic process.

But, Twitter has confirmed, the policy does not apply to former elected officials. They have to follow the same rules as everyone else, and if a tweet breaks those rules, it gets removed. Were Trump to continue breaking Twitter’s rules regularly post-presidency, his account could be suspended.

“Twitter’s approach to world leaders, candidates and public officials is based on the principle that people should be able to choose to see what their leaders are saying with clear context,” a spokesman told the Guardian. “This means that we may apply warnings and labels, and limit engagement to certain Tweets. This policy framework applies to current world leaders and candidates for office, and not private citizens when they no longer hold these positions.”

That will present Trump with a choice once he leaves office: either tone down the rhetoric or face the prospect of his hugely influential following being taken away from him.

The curious bit, though, is the way there's actually more vote rigging (i.e. bigger swings towards the Democrats) in Republican states such as Georgia and North Carolina.

The only explanation I can think of is that the Republicans are trying to overthrow Trump.

Do you have any other explanation for why the swings are larger to the Democrats in Republican run states?

I think it would be very unwise to un-person trump. Just let him scream like a child and do the moderate thing on anything really crazy. Unpersoning him just makes him a martyr and feds into thr narrative twitter are bias / happy to censor certain people and not others.

Oh it is baked into the SNP to its very core, the SNP are nationalists to their core in the way the Tories are not, Farage's followers maybe but really the most aggressive on Twitter are the cybernats from the SNP side in Scotland and YesCymru in Wales, the remaining Corbyn faithful and the No Deal ultra hard Brexiteers

I hope Bidens speech is long enough to last two days, if it is he will finish about the same time PA will be called and he can end his speech 'oh and by the way I accept the Presidency'
