I wonder if Farage standing aside may end up being a very, very bad call
I'd like to know what his game is apart from making money from Brexit in the same way that Crispin Odey(ous) does. He made ££££££ by conceding defeat on 23 June 2016, knowing that this wasn't actually the result.
As is the whole interview. I have never seen her so comprehensively demolished before and in many ways it is why I think Scotland will reject independence if another vote is ever held
There was a bit tonight where Sturgeon said to him "you obviously havent read the growth commission report into Scotland" He smiled knowing at that moment he had her on toast..he knew it inside out and back to front
So where are we all gonna move to? If Corbyn gets in?
I fancy Greece. Pelion, or Poros. Or perhaps Australia. The northern beaches.
Australia eh? Do you possess the necessary points to gain entry?
As a very successful male model I get fast tracked citizenship. There’s a shortage of REALLY good looking men in Australia. Apparently.
Any convictions resulting in a sentence of 12 months or more? That would put an end to any such plans I am afraid.
One reason SeanT was always such an entertaining poster was like Johnson and Corbyn he had no convictions whatsoever. He always said whatever made sense at the time.
On the contrary, he had the most intense convictions.
If we see a continued trend in Labour Leavers going back to Labour, Johnson is in deep trouble. His electoral strategy is in tatters if he has another May and picks up barely any seats.
It does seem a bit of panic has set in surrounded by Corbyn's waspi bung
It is hopefully just bad luck that the first poll in a while to show any movement at all (still MOE) towards Labour was also the one showing them to best effect to begin with. The panic just that everyone is ready and waiting for 2017 to repeat.

In fairness that thoroughly unpleasant far-right nutter JWiseman predicted something similar in 2016 (35/34) and was far closer to the actual gap than almost all the rest of us.

What are you on about? They’re averaging 43 and haven’t gone below 40 in about 20 polls. You seem to think Tory leavers will flood to Labour because of a hunch. You are Aaron Bastani aren’t you
If we see another poll with a narrowing gap, it must be the start of a trend. Survation and ICM showed it narrowing.
I think we will see a Labour 35 this week.
What we don't know is the effect of tactical voting. Difficult to see how the pollsters would have picked this up. If all anti Tory voters used their votes to best effect the picture would be very different. I can't see who would vote tactically FOR the Tories
Interesting. What scandal have they got hold of? Is it the one @Charles knows about Keir Starmer? Or are they going to name the senior Labour politician interviewed by Yewtree? (For the avoidance of ambiguity although he wasn’t named in the few reports on the subject I’m 99% sure it wasn’t Corbyn.) Or is it something else entirely?
Perhaps they should just give in then. What's your solution to what the Tories need to do now?
Produce some positive policies relevant to individual lives after Brexit. 4 years doing nothing is a long, boring time. I know one conservative view is that do-nothing governments are a good thing - let business proceed without distraction and al lthat - but as a manifesto it lacks sex appeal.

Another foreign owned newspaper getting involved in dirty tricks during an election campaign? I thought the telegraph had that market sewn up

Btw, there's an official in the Palace of Westminster I know (ish) who is widely respected who thinks we'll be having general elections like this every 18-24 months for the next decade.
Which I thought sounded like fun.
Anyway, that's enough bedwetting for one evening. Supper beckons.
And that is Earth-shattering because...? Leading Jew criticises leading anti-Semite is not exactly one of the great scoops, is it? As for being a racist muppet who is unfit for high office, we also knew that. I don’t think this will have much impact. Corbyn’s long standing issues on Judaism are well known. It’s one reason why he struggles to be popular or respected. Anyone who is choosing to support him does so in the full knowledge of what he is and are not going to be swayed by a Jew protesting about it. In itself that is an indictment of our politics, but we are where we are sadly.
If it’s an exclusive then the Mail has the same story . Really is this the so called bombshell . As for soul of the nation the Tories are doing a good job in destroying that .
The Mail and the Times have obviously gone code red after the ICM poll. What next Corbyn will order the slaying of the first born son!
OT Sports Personality of the Year (SPotY) shortlist of six
The nominees are athletes Dina Asher-Smith and Katarina Johnson-Thompson, cricketer Ben Stokes, Formula 1's Lewis Hamilton, footballer Raheem Sterling and rugby union's Alun Wyn Jones. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/sports-personality/50471639

My bet is a leading Labour figure/candidate disowning Corby.
I'm amazed that's not happened already. I can't see how Labour moderates can in all conscience support Labour's manifesto.
Labour moderates have consciences?
One lives in hope.
The point Luciana Berger was chased out the party was the point when Labour moderates should have taken a stand. Instead they put their careers first rather than having any solidarity with British Jews. Many used Tom Watson's plea to stay as cover for taking action. Now even he has thrown in the towel while they continue to hide from view.

Too many of these and the public might just see one Tory Rabbi too many crying wolf

QED.
Just shows how pathetic and immoral 80% of British left of centre voters are. It has started to make me question my economic views. Why should I be happy to pay for others less fortunate out of solidarity if they show no solidarity to me?
He seems to think Boris Johnson is okay - so he's happy to talk up a man who has said some awful and racist things too?
Fucking hell
Oh please fuck off with your whataboutery. You Corbynistas always try to divert attention elsewhere rather than confront your own guilt. It is despicable. This is exactly why Jewish leaders are speaking out. And in return you attack them.
And that is Earth-shattering because...? Leading Jew criticises leading anti-Semite is not exactly one of the great scoops, is it?
I'm not for a moment condoning Corbyn on anti-semitism, although he handled it relatively well on the QT debate the other night, but frankly the more the Jewish community keeps whingeing about him the more people will switch off.
It's become a non-story to the vast majority. Again, I'm not saying that should be the case but it's tedious.
In fact, if anything it's throwing fuel onto the fire. Jewsish people do NOT want to appear to be 'special.' That's just what has landed them in trouble before.
Racism is around in many guises, including Islamophobia and anti-immigration. Anti-semitism is awful but so are all forms of racism. The 'Jewish community' would be much better advised to talk about the whole issue.
He seems to think Boris Johnson is okay - so he's happy to talk up a man who has said some awful and racist things too?

Has Boris Johnson hung out with Holocaust Deniers, called them his friends or endorsed their political platforms? If not, that might be why he’s seen as a bit different. Incidentally, it’s interesting that your post implicitly accepts Corbyn is a racist - ‘ so he's happy to talk up a man who has said some awful and racist things too?’
I don't know why some people think Labour have an unassailable lead, when in fact they are 7-19% behind.
People are worried the Corbyn cancer is going to metastasise and spread to cause terminal structural alterations to the British body politick over the next fortnight.

Boris Johnson literally said he was scared of black people, refused to do an investigation into Islamophobia in his own party, said Muslim women looked like bank robbers, said on live radio money was being "spaffed up the wall" on abuse.
Don't come on here and tell me Boris Johnson is somehow this idea of moral virtue, please.
Two in one day? That’s a bit strange. Presumably just coincidence given they are in different parts of the country, but not a pleasant one.
Two, yes. Labour canvasser attacked and left with cracked ribs A Labour activist, believed to be in her 70s, was attacked by a stranger calling her and fellow canvassers "Marxists" and telling them to leave Herefordshire.
The woman was treated for suspected cracked ribs after the assault, which came as campaigners were delivering leaflets.
"There is no place in politics or our society for such violence," says a Labour spokesman.
It is the second alleged attack on a Labour canvasser today. A man was arrested for grievous bodily harm after a 72-year-old campaigner was taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw in South Yorkshire.
I was there and almost every answer was preceded by “as an accountant and economist”. Never mind. The LibDems were there in force and typically loathsome, constantly barracking Raab and at one point almost drowning out his remarks. Of course, not a vote changed one way or the other.

It won't. The Conservative lead has remained stable during this campaign.

Albeit with a half life of a couple of days.
Labour rampers crowing and tories running around screaming "don't panic!"
Oh goody, level up the attacks
No relaxing on a 17 point lead
The lunatics really could get the keys to the asylum and the Marxists need keeping out.

A 72-year-old party election campaigner has been attacked and injured while going house-to-house.
The man, who uses a walking stick, was initially taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw, South Yorkshire Police said.

The country is fucked, because enough people believe you can spend money you don't have and let someone pay it back.
Why work? Why not just claim benefits. You"ll be better of under a Labour government not working.
At this stage everyone needs to calm down.

The gap will close a bit, as Labour waverers come home, but it won't close that much.
