This is something that has been floating around as rumours for a few years. It was one of those things I always thought was probably rubbish whilst hoping desperately that it was true.
Be interesting to see if the Mail actually have anything to back it up.

Should teach people like Blair to mix with the Murdoch sort !
There is no suggestion by this newspaper of any impropriety by Mr Blair or Ms Deng. And Mr Blair’s friends have repeatedly denied he had an affair with Ms Deng.
Labour press tweets of ed piece in sindy are class. Making him sound enfeebled, whiny, hypocritical, small, weak, defensive, shallow and basically crap.
Happy birthday to Richard, hope the claret is going down well.
On topic - doesn't seem sensible to use a straight statistical model to predict electoral outcomes. Need to use political judgement as well. It is well-documented that opinion polls tended to overstate Labour support in the 1980s and 90s but in more recent elections, especially the most recent one, Labour support has been predicted accurately.
@kle4 I feel sorry for all those WI fans with memories of Holding, Roberts. Marshall, Croft, Bishop, Richards, Lloyd, Greenidge et al -
That's possibly why, judging by the crowds in their stadia, there aren't many of them left.
Pretty sure that even in India they have trouble fillign stadiums for Test Matches now. But yeh, WI have been bad for so long now, it's probably got niche appeal only there.
Tony Blair really is the Stuff Of Legends. It's almost unbelievable that the bloke was actually PM. If the Yanks ever let us read the unredacted Chilcot report, it'll probably read like a Tom Clancy novel.
I like Tatchell, the man had an amicable discussion with Welby about a topic they were never going to agree on in a million years and he also stood up to Mugabe's bunch of disgusting thugs when they came to this country. The man raises a good point about creeping islamism into British society. And unlike being gay, it can and does and will affect people adversely if Islamist practices like this creep into British life and culture.
Let's see what creeps. er, activists have signed so far:
A C Grayling, Philosopher Abhishek N. Phadnis, President, London School of Economics Atheist, Secularist and Humanist Society Chris Moos, Secretary, London School of Economics Atheist, Secularist and Humanist Society Helen Palmer, Chair of London Humanists Polly Toynbee, Journalist Pragna Patel, Director of Southall Black Sisters Richard Dawkins, Scientist Rory Fenton, President of The National Federation of Atheist, Humanist and Secular Student Societies of the UK and ROI Terry Sanderson, President of National Secular Society
So, the usual bunch of anti-religious bigots.
This man you so admire tried to have the Holy Father arrested on his visit to this country and succeeded in having the law changed to prevent this ever happening at all.
As for "Islamist practices" creeping into British life, tough. You should have thought of that before letting so many Muslims into the country. It's too late now.
Also, this sex segregation is a complete joke. We have sex segregated schools, colleges and living quarters.
It's just the same old bigotry in liberal clothing.

Jeez. Just spent the evening with a bunch of manboys who were banging on about the navel fluff of Dr Who like it MATTERED.
I think they're desperate to convince themselves that the shouty runabouty updates are anything like a patch on the old. *pities*
I tried to pitch in with a bit of analysis of 'The White Horses' from my TV youth, just for the hell of it. But then when I was a kid I thought it was just about galloping about on horses and stuff. Which it was.

Dr Who is a bit meh! I've never seen the attraction. The Walking Dead is where it's at for me.
Flowers's male companion had done time for an armed raid.......on a COOP:
A male escort allegedly paid for sex by shamed Co-operative Bank chief Paul Flowers is a convicted armed robber who attacked a Co-op store, the Daily Mail can reveal.
I remember going to see Tony Blair speak at a Labour party meeting in the mid nineties. He was a passionate and eloquent speaker, and it was an amazing evening.
What is it about being Labour leader that converts intelligent and passionate youngsters, and turns them into golem?
Tony Blair really is the Stuff Of Legends. It's almost unbelievable that the bloke was actually PM. If the Yanks ever let us read the unredacted Chilcot report, it'll probably read like a Tom Clancy novel.
It was a stormer of a fight, and could have been a British classic had the ref not jumped in ridiculously early when Groves was taking some good punches in the 9th.
I had it 78-73 on the cards at that point in favour of Groves. Assuming the 9th was a 10-8 to Froch it would have been 83-86.
The ref was out of his depth in all honesty, Froch should have been docked a point for some fouls earlier in the fight.
The judges had it as a one point fight on the cards too - shocking.
Saw that, incredible and makes any fix conspiracy theorists credible.
Having seen anything as blatant as that for a long time, fair play to the fans though.
Manchester is kind of Froch's backyard even though he is Nottingham - has had alot of fights there. Should choose a neutral venue next time, Millenium stadium would be a great choice, or even somewhere like Coventry's Ricoh arena.

I think boxing like too many sports are increasingly under the influence of the betting syndicates. Just realised I had it on Ace Stream and had minimised the bloody thing....my bad.

Nice to see the PB bigots showing themselves this evening. Accusing people who disagree with you of mental illness is pretty much par for the course for anti-religious bigots.
Nice to see someone using 'politician' as an insult on a blog about, er, politics.
As for intervening where it is not wanted (by you, presumably), remind me where in World Britain didn't intervene where it wasn't wanted.
The fact that David Laws is in charge of the next [Lib Dem] manifesto would suggest that it will not be a radical leftist agenda.
Sorry to go back to something from much earlier today but this is great news that I'd obviously missed. David Laws talks much sense, IMO, and this news gives me hope that the Lib Dems will fight the next election on a solid footing.

It was pointed out to me last night, that last year, I spent an evening with Paul Flowers, we were in the company of criminals, some with drug misuse problems, all at the expense of the Co-Op.
I attended an event that the Co-Op banking event, pointing out the good work, the Co-Op does helping prisoners have bank accounts, something which most other banks don't offer.

How so? Do you mean that the Lib Dems will be seen as Tory-lite so people who feel negatively about the government will be more likely to vote Labour? Conversely, might it not be that the Lib Dems are more likely to pick up tactical votes from Conservative-leaning people in Labour-Lib Dem marginals? That's going to be a huge issue in 2015, isn't it - how inclined Conservative voters will be to vote tactically.
TSE - Off topic. Steven Gerrard, what does he have to do to get booked in a Merseyside derby? He seems to go around the pitch booting/falling into/general misdemeanour's against the opposition and gets away with it, but then seems to tell the refs which players he wants to get booked. For the first time in my life I actually agreed with Neil Warnock who said a few times if that was anyone else but Gerrard it would have been a booking. He may be a great player but on Merseyside derby day he seems a law unto himself and a law which referees follow implacably.

It will re-enforce the Lib Dem to Labour voters to vote Labour. I can't remember which Tory MP said it, but one of them said he is more right wing than most in his party.

The Labour party is facing a major financial crisis after the scandal stricken Co-operative Group told its MPs that they will slash their funding as part of a review of their historic partnership.
At least a third of the £850,000 annual donation given to Ed Miliband's MPs is to be cut, with one senior Labour figure admitting that he believed all funding from the mutual could soon be stopped.
Such a move would be a major blow for Miliband in the runup to the general election, as it comes after the GMB union's decision to cut their £1m a year funding to Labour by 90%. It is feared that other affiliated unions could make similar announcements before 2015.

Agree Miralles should have been sent off. However, Gerrard seems to have immunity to cards in thee Merseyside derby recently.
The worse one ever by Gerrard was the two footer on Naysmith with the ball about three yards away and Naysmith was on the floor. After the match he said he was pulling out of the tackle. However was Gerrard musn't realise is that people have eyes.

You mean, the professional foul that was an automatic redcard?
No.
I meant the blatant dive that got them a penalty. Watch it again and tell me his legs splay in a natural manner, it was cheating and it was disgusting.
Jesus the tribal politics on here is childish and depressing enough without starting on football. I'm a Chelsea fan but I will not defend our many indiscretions just because I am a fan.
Steven Gerrard represents to worst in English football. A diver, a cheat, violent and dirty on and off the pitch, and responsible for one of the worst fouls the game has ever seen

I'm a Liverpool fan but I didn't like the look of how Gerrard led with his elbow towards Barry. But he didn't actually make contact. Sort of barged him in the back. Mirallas' tackle was dangerous and he should have gone (but would it have then been such anexciting game?). Why the ref was faffing around for about 2 minutes before doing anything I'll never know.
Just to add I always thought Gerrard's elbow on Michael Brown was the one he got away with. However Brown was a horrible little player so I doubt there was much sympathy.
Those tweets tonight have been a blast. You have to wonder, how the hell is Ed Miliband going to cope with the GE campaign if he cannot cope with any scrutiny or criticism now from his opponents or the media?
This article is a game changer, the guy isn't fit for Office if he cannot cope with the general rough and tumble of politics after coming up through the Labour party operation via Gordon Brown's Office and the Blair/Brown Governments as a Minister. Poor wee petal, its a wonder he survived to get a safe Labour seat, much less an almost immediate promotion to the Labour Government with all that spin, smears and bare knuckle rows going on around him within the Labour Government at the time.
Hang on, have I just smeared Ed Miliband with my critique of his article and his own hypocrisy as a Labour politician under his arrogantly set out new rules of political engagement?!
Labour press tweets of ed piece in sindy are class. Making him sound enfeebled, whiny, hypocritical, small, weak, defensive, shallow and basically crap.

Welcome to the UK, 2013.
Be interesting to see if the Mail actually have anything to back it up.
A few minutes of stillness from Tom is worth hours of Matt Smith hopping about on a pogo stick screaming about jelly and bananas.

Or stick that bit in at any rate....
Now that is a smear.
Dave = England?
Groves takes round 2 too.
Not going the way I expected, but the fight is a stormer so far.
The only thing that would have made the 50th Anniversary programme perfect was Matt Smith being offered a jelly baby right at the end.

But I think both are right - Baker (not one of my favourites) quietly stole it....
Did you see the dramas about the first series 'Adventures in Time & Space'?

Froch can't win on points now by my card.

Bit like you really.
A male escort allegedly paid for sex by shamed Co-operative Bank chief Paul Flowers is a convicted armed robber who attacked a Co-op store, the Daily Mail can reveal.

Having seen anything as blatant as that for a long time, fair play to the fans though.
What is it about being Labour leader that converts intelligent and passionate youngsters, and turns them into golem?
I had it 78-73 on the cards at that point in favour of Groves. Assuming the 9th was a 10-8 to Froch it would have been 83-86.
The ref was out of his depth in all honesty, Froch should have been docked a point for some fouls earlier in the fight.
Nice to see someone using 'politician' as an insult on a blog about, er, politics.
As for intervening where it is not wanted (by you, presumably), remind me where in World Britain didn't intervene where it wasn't wanted.
Mr. Pot, let me introduce you to Mr. Kettle.
*Braces for 'expenses cheat!' tirades.*
I jizzed myself inside out, it was that good.
Was it free or did you have to pay?
Re-match. Cherching!
Which makes the co-op bank top bananas.
CON 33%, LAB 40%, LDEM 9%, UKIP 11%.
Your ridiculous posturing has laid yourself bare, not very tolerant are you"

This is the best one, poor Kevin Campbell is still looking for someone with a bollock donor card

And how does being anti-imperialist disqualify my being English?
And how does accommodating recent arrivals in this country make me intolerant?
*Sigh* Another illiberal liberal.
Now, Sunil, you're an intelligent guy, figure it out.
You mean, the professional foul that was an automatic redcard?
What time do you have to be up for your paper round?
The worse one ever by Gerrard was the two footer on Naysmith with the ball about three yards away and Naysmith was on the floor. After the match he said he was pulling out of the tackle. However was Gerrard musn't realise is that people have eyes.

Garbage in, garbage out.
