    ABC calls TX for Cruz

Years from now politicos will ask each other "Were you up for Cruz (to hold on as polls predicted)?"

Jake Tapper saying the dems are getting closer to capturing the house but might lose seats in the senate. Aren't they a bit behind? Also John King's suit doesn't fit well.

I think CNN are still going to mention o’rourke at least once an hour, every hour, until 2020.

    This is consequential for 2020:

I wonder how reliable a Republican vote Romney will be in the Senate ?

I suspect highly. My guess is he replaces Jeff Flake as the senator who talks a big game but votes on party lines.
He and Trump seem to have made up. Trump campaigned for him. Even said he wasn't lyin Ted but Terrific Ted and Texas Ted

I've lost track of what's happening in the governors races

Democrats have gained 2 for sure, and look to gain another 4. So, they'll be +6 against an expected +8.

North Dakota has not voted for a Democratic presidential candidate since LBJ probably explains why the Democrats lost it, their victory last time there was a fluke

So is West Virginia ! I'd say the only state where a Democrat could probably never ever win is Wyoming.

Dukakis has been all over the networks this evening. No Willie Horton though. Lindsey Graham points out the Utah victory party will be without alcohol or caffeine.

So if the GOP had held the House, does anyone know who the speaker would have been? Paul Ryan being retiring, presumably there were some people in line to run.

It's an encouraging result for the Dems in the long-term. Texas is slowly turning blue due to the rising immigrant population and inward migration from other states like CA.
