Pretty sad to see that Paula Radcliffe might be doper.
Swimmers are the ones that really should be worrying. They're going to be caught very soon if the same historic records are kept.
Proof my friend ......proof? Of course you really would like to believe this I know however, until such proof is made known then may I very repectifully suggest you just .......STFU.
Just over 80 hours to go to the big announcement...
3.5 sleeps!
I seriously still cannot believe they will do this I just can't I mean what the Hell? i just expect a Burnham or Cooper to come through the middle...at last moment to save the party. Oh? Wait a minute.......... I think I think I may have spotted a minor issue or flaw in both the plan and the risk assessment

seems pretty shaky (or her PR is good!). Mo farah looks more questionable.
no doubt there are some guilty ones among the hundreds. However it's v.v. difficult to prove anything by blood values alone.
tennis and rugby might be good places to look tho... (and soccer)

And vehemently denied by Radcliffe. Looks like this story was provoked by some loose language by Jesse Norman:

If she is a popping then after that you might just as well cancel Athletics in the UK. It's seriously the end game.
althletics has a problem. maybe as bad as cycling. it hasn't woken up yet. check how many convicted dopers were competing in the world championships just now. (i haven't counted, but fairly sure there are plenty. not least in the 100m final).
and, by the way, when did China suddenly become good at sprinting?
I'm inclined to believe Radcliffe (although there are loads of cases of vehement denials which later turned out to be tosh)
Speaking of drones, today brings yet another Hillary Clinton campaign relaunch.
We are told that she will be showing more humor and heart, and giving more interviews.
"He will make an excellent drone!" - Commander Data.
I realise PB is its own little universe, where refugees can be called terrorists but ISIS combatants may not be killed. But even by this site's everyday madness, what I am about to say may be thought extreme...

Have you ever seen a swimmer?
Seriously - that is not a normal physique.
With luck it will see the ridiculous medal count in the "sport" reduced. It is the comical stepchild of real competition.
Just having a look at the Geneva Conventions and the various commentaries on it from legal and human rights sources, I am not sure that David is correct to claim that it is outdated. It appears to me that those drafting the conventions were well aware of the potential for non signatories to be involved in combat and they made it quite clear in the 3rd Convention what that meant.
Article 2 Para 3:
"Although one of the Powers in conflict may not be a party to the present Convention, the Powers who are parties thereto shall remain bound by it in their mutual relations. They shall furthermore be bound by the Convention in relation to the said Power, if the latter accepts and applies the provisions thereof."
Basically if ISIL were to turn round and say that they were abiding by the Conventions - even though they are not actually signatories - then the other parties who were signatories would be legally obliged to treat them in accordance with the Conventions. This opportunity remains open to ISIL but they have chosen not to take it. As such there is no requirement for the British, US or any other signatory to abide by the Conventions when dealing specifically with ISIL. Of course they are bound by it whilst dealing with non combatants/civilians or Syrian forces under Assad's control as Syria is a signatory.
And Article 1.1 of Additional Protocol II:
"This Protocol, which develops and supplements Article 3 common to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949 without modifying its existing conditions of application, shall apply to all armed conflicts which are not covered by Article 1 of the Protocol Additional to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and relating to the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts (Protocol I) and which take place in the territory of a High Contracting Party between its armed forces and dissident armed forces or other organized armed groups which, under responsible command, exercise such control over a part of its territory as to enable them to carry out sustained and concerted military operations and to implement this Protocol"
Mr Tyndall, the other fly in the ointment is that if the Geneva Conventions are deemed to be so universally adhered to by the civilized world that they have become part of customary international law (and I believe they have), then we are bound by our obligations regardless of ISIS' position as they will be deemed to be obligatory on everyone, regardless of accession to the treaty. That is, I think right - we should treat civilians and prisoners in ISIS held territories as we would those in any other part of the world where we might happen to be in armed conflict. In short, were we to capture an ISIS leader, we should not execute him summarily after surrender, but try him. That does not prevent us from seeking to kill him before surrender.

When did you last hear about a swimmer who failed a test.
And when did you look at a swimmer in the blocks and think "hey that's a normal physique, no drugs used there".
Athletics and Cycling are null compared to the cheating that could be revealed in swimming.

If she is a popping then after that you might just as well cancel Athletics in the UK. It's seriously the end game.
Radcliffe was ALWAYS outside of the UK Athletics programme - at least she was always outside the programme when she became successful.
It helps to know who works inside UK Athletics (or other UK sports programmes) and who doesn't. It is a reasonably safe assumption that the UK doesn't run a Spanish style national doping programme but there are people who work outside the UK programmes in various sports who seem to do unexpectedly well.

Cycling is predominantly clean now, you can see that in the way races work (for examplee in both Froome's TdFs he has nearly lost it at the end when he ran out of steam) and also the way races work now is COMPLETELY different to how it was ten years ago.
Swimming is the big bad waiting to be caught, athletics has almost certainly had cheats but it has also often caught the cheats. Swimming appears to have done nothing and all those absurd body shapes seem to be acceptable to the sport.
SO..I agree with your opinion on the EU..I would vote for out too..enough of their nonsense....If it is Scotlands desire to dis..unite the UK then they have already failed..if they wish to to remove themselves then so be it and I wish them well.
