Following @AlastairMeeks ’s lead, I’ve deleted my Twitter. Not that I ever posted, but it’s now become more annoying than useful.

Monetisation, dressed up as “personalisation” destroys everything.

Google, Facebook, WhatsApp and now Twitter.

It’s an assault on objective reality.

If PB starts down that route, I’ll be gone from here, too.

    Please don’t, @rcs1000 @MikeSmithson

Deleted my Twitter way back in November, as soon as Musk took over.

The West is facing a growing split between the Anglosphere (US/UK) and the EU (Franco-German bloc) when it comes to dealing with #DragonBear (China & Russia).
Little did I know that Macron‘s visit to China will quickly manifest this geopolitical trend.

The “growing split” has been the for as long as I can remember. France - marginally - prioritises “strategic autonomy”, and Germany - marginally - prioritises export volumes.

The UK almost entirely hews to the US line, in part because the two Anglo countries see things very similarly.

The tweeter seems to suggest a Polish-Ukrainian union is on the cards for 2023 which seems far-fetched.
