F##king Steve Bray again. I thought they passed a law to take his equipment off him for his stupid stunts.Someone should secretly creep up behind him with wirecutters and cut the power lead. then disappear into the crowd.

I really don't understand why we have to wait until 9th July for nominations to open. This gives time for ZmpS to decide who they will nominate - and also means that if Burnham is the only candidate that’s a carefully thought position rather than a rushed one.
It should happen today.

He's done a lot, this Starmer chap. Maybe he should carry on.

So Theresa May has already outlasted 3 PMs since she left office seven years ago. Who would have predicted that?

So nominations open for 3 weeks, and then the coronation of The Prince Over The WaterAndy Burnham

Despite all the sneering, I thought Starmer's exit statement was statesmanlike and dignified, clearly putting the Labour Party before his own ego. Very different from Boris's waspish words when he left the stage.

Tomorrow will begin the "Actually, algae is good" messaging. For @Sandpit …Trump is objectively the worst US president there has ever been but the Reflecting Pool shenanigans are huge fun. This was the man who did the paint job on the pool.

Step 1: Remove filters in Reflecting Pool because Obama put them in.
Step 2: Give your criminal neighbor who runs "Greenwater Services" a $20 million no-bid contract to paint the pool.
Step 3: Fill the pool with water from the Potomac River, the phosphates from which cause algae blooms.
Step 4: Freshly sealed pool and extreme heat result in a super scum event
Step 5: Direct National Park Service to dump hydrogen peroxide into the pool which causes the paint to peel.
Step 5: Deploy US National Guard to stop people from taking photos of the swamp as a perfect metaphor for the administration.
Step 6: Blame someone else.
And drafting in random police forces from across America to arrest random cyclists because they have to do something, right? (Maybe not so amusing for the cyclists...)
Don't the Dumocrats like nature and rewilding?

"Restoring trust on the economy, defence and national security,"
Um, no. No you didn't. And the fact that you obviously didn't, and yet still put it in the speech, is indicative of the fundamental problem with Starmerism: he confuses words with deeds and facts. He thinks if he says something it is true. It isn't. That's the problem.
