Re: Voters believe the magic money tree exists – politicalbetting.com
@OnlyLivingBoy Just looking back for something & saw this, which I didn't notice before. I think it's a combination of two things: the different social strata in which people move; and also the fact that I work for a tiny local charity that helps the unfortunates in our society. So I & my extended family are fairly low… -

I'm leasing an enyaq at the moment. I like it the most out of all the VW group offerings based on the same platform. More sensible controls than the VW ID cars. Elroq basically the same with a smaller shorter boot and slightly lower spec . I'm an owner director so leasing through company is a no brainer for me. If you are… -

Thanks I've done a proper test of my new Silva one now - a proper couple of miles to a local pub down public footpaths and back again. It was fine for local walks, but does not have the power to light up an aqueduct for 30 seconds to have a proper look. It was reviewed in the Telegraph here as the "Best Head Torch for Dog… -

Re: Starmer & the government’s ratings improve from dire to the merely appalling – politicalbetting.com
I have this T-shirt, you don't need dynamic alignment. You set up a production line, with the appropriate certification, and price accordingly to cover costs. You do have to either be specialist or have the volumes from the EU to justify the costs. Ditto selling to Japan, the Middle East. And you can forget the US as… -

Re: A nuclear deterrent – politicalbetting.com
Of course you are entirely right, it’s an expensive pipe dream! However in brute political terms it taps into the disgust a clear majority of Brits feel toward Trump, which is quite shrewd. And by the way less of the snide LD’s in government nonsense; we did a good job in coalition, stabilised the economy, kept the hard… -

The impact of WW2 bombing on the UK was more than many realise. The numbers make me think it through again whenever I see them, 3.5-4 million dwellings were damaged or destroyed in the UK; that was just under 30% of the housing stock. The breakdown is 200k destroyed, 250k seriously damaged, the rest being minor. 1 million… -

https://x.com/kyivpost/status/2032788623322488936 Iran threatens Ukraine with strikes, claiming Kyiv’s alleged support for Israel — including drone assistance — makes the entire territory of Ukraine a “legitimate target,” said Ibrahim Azizi, head of Iran’s parliamentary commission on national security. -
