Re: Happy 100th birthday to the most favourable party in Wales – politicalbetting.com
Yes, that's my recollection. I didn't - and still don't - see why constituencies which have both island and mainland portions is unreasonable. Does Lewis have any less in common with Ullapool than it does with Barra? Does Orkney have any less in common with Caithness than it does with Shetland? Arran is lumped in with… -

On allotments, it's worth a note that it is 8 allotment plots, not 8 allotments. One site is in Ashfield and two in Bolsover. I have slight doubts about the whole thing, as I can't find anything about the Ashfield one saying it is being sold, and I don't think it is Council owned. OTOH, "Kingsway" is a common name, so… -

That calc seems optimistic on age. By 2005 (20 years ago) there were just 4000 miners left in the entire country. Go back to the late 1980s and there were probably more than that within 2 miles of my kitchen table. The last of all anywhere went in 2010, so 15 years ago; that was Welbeck and it was down to 410 by 2005:… -

What impressed me even more about @DecrepiterJohnL is the implication that he could persuade his lady friends that they were having a seaside holiday on the Costa Serpentine. At least on first reading. (And, in the best tradition of PBnitpicking, isn't the Thames tidal up to Richmond or somewhere like that? At least when… -

Re: If you want to bet on the 2028 election with Trump & Obama as the candidates then you can now
Fife has one odd feature not directly related to cis and trans women. Doctors and nurses look at naked people for a living so why have they suddenly become so precious about it? Certainly as a patient I've had my bits hanging out in front of both professions and however many genders, sometimes mob-handed, and next month…
