Tonight we saw the last of Lord Ashcroft constituency polls which have added enormously to this election. All told his polling has covered nearly 250k separate phone interviews which is just colossal.

    If Cameron's not going to cut tax credits or child benefit then why doesn't he legislate to confirm he won't? The reason is, because the Tories WILL cut tax credits and child benefit...the party of non doms and fox hunters are going to fleece the working poor.

    if you were searchin for Labour in Holborn today...they were in Regents Park this morning. In the afternoon Starmer was at the Mosque

    Balls and Boris Johnson were in Hampstead and Kilburn today. Balls dacing with old oldies while a jogger shouted "bulla bulla" at Boris while walking on the street

    You have to wonder how they'll calculate the LD figure from a handful of LD seats. Perhaps they could incorporate the ashcroft polls or something?

    It's not just Jews who are horrified by his "Islamophobia" pledge.     UKIP actually take a higher proportion of 2010 Labour voters than Tories according to the tables.

    Not sure where you get the "anything standing" bit from as it was LibDem until 2001

    And "scandal after scandal" is a bit of an odd way to describe a nutty ex girlfriend stalking him.

    The SNP should of course really be called the Scottish Nazi party. They were formed in 1934, in the wake of Hitler's rise to power in 1933, and during the 1939-45 war encouraged Scots not to fight for Britain.
    Now (as in the referendum (when I never saw a NO poster that hadn't been torn down or defaced, we are seeing them in their true colours.

    I don't understand what people keep going on about with the Fixed Term Parliaments Act changing anything. As far as I see it, if a vote of no confidence is passed, the government falls the same as it always did. The only difference that the Act makes is the PM loses the power to call an election at a time of his choosing (in theory anyway, if he doesn't engineer a VoNC).

    As a Lib Dem member I have been deluged with emails over the last few days from Lib Den HQ asking for money. No surprise there then! But today there was a message asking specifically for money for Christine Jardine, Layla Moran and Jasper Gerard. It suggest they are behind but within touching distance.

    Who were the lunatics that bombed Libya on the basis of construed and manufactured claims? Clinton, Sharkozy and Camoron. It was this trio that unleashed a profound humanitarian crisis that continues to this very day. Of course, Milibad can't exact any political capital from it because he approved. Compared to these seasoned crooks, the SNP are absolutely tame.
